Bonjour
Go to aliexpress...it is cheaper
And if you buy some, could you please invite me for the rave in your box...
See you
I might if someone shared some exp. with the lights. Or of course take them apart in a one-liner about the frequency or the spectrum... not sure that I really got the joke.

I found the following site actually in an ad on the forum: http://www.ibuylight.com They sell LED grow light. Has anyone had experience with them, especially interested in the spider series.
They are absolute junk, bottom of the barrel, garbage. They falsely advertised, with bud shots they stole from another site. They illegally used a competitors name in their search parameters to confuse customers and steal business. This was all with the last few weeks, too, mind you.
They may advertise here, but they can't censor the truth, which is that spiders are a web of lies.

Welp I got my 3 vero 29 bar done.bright as fuck and all my fans worked without melting so I guess my idea of modifying molex fan cords like these worked.

It's a 2 pin connector and what I did was cut square end off so one end is open so a 4 pin CPU Molex would fit, use the notches on the 4 pin CPU cooler to line up to the little tab you left on the 2 pin. Then just cut the 2 wires at the 4 pin molex connector and attach em to the driver makes it nice and easy to hook up multiple fans. Also makes it nice and easy to disconnect the fans quickly and safely should a need arise. most computer nerds will have these things lying around in droves, but they are also dirt cheap at about $1-2.

the 4 pin molex's can easily handle the power.

I ran my light for 12 hours and nothing melted so I think I'm good to go :) Thermal paste and these little fan connectors were my main concerns.

I'll grab some pictures in case there is any confusion phone is dead right now though so it's going to take a bit :)

Bonjour
I have a question about the size of the wires, I make 4 separated light but on the same driver and I want to know if i am going to loose power if my wires are too long (2.5feet between each cob, to be able to move each light independently) 14 feet from the driver to the driver and 2 feet from the driver to the wall.
Have a great day★

Just research voltage drop per length by AWG [gauge] .....If you are using 16 gauge, I think it is like 100 feet worth, before voltage drop becomes an issue....you really need to run a lot of really thin wire before it really becomes an issue :peace:

So I did a little unintended experiment I was all baked and disconnected one of my fans from the molex to see if my heatshrink tube was big enough and forgot to reconnect it.

So I ran a vero29 at 95watts for 8 hours on an arctic 64 in a room temp of 25celcius or over. I was quite afraid these weren't seated right or had enough thermal paste I guess I can lay that to rest now :)

Guys at 420 told me the 300Watt Old Model Marshydro was good for my 2x2 foot growtent.
Then I found out too late that the people with knowledge are here.
Not that I wasted much money, and 150 watts is enough for now but I will go diy Cree/Vero the moment it shows signs of deterioration.

The people here are a lot better.

Ok 1st thx to all who have made the progression of these led cob set ups...I.read for a month now and time to order and choose....I run 4 x 8 flood trays.....what would i need to cover one..i see the cxb is out and 72v is tempting...but now the 3070 are cheaper.......agh...Im looking to use external dimming drivers...i like efficiency but love a big harvest.....I like realstyles 8 cob on 1 heat sink set up.....as far as budget...not issue..i want a good amount of light...but unsure on what to run now....the new cob or old ones that are cheaper...............also a good veg cob set up for a 3 x 6 area,,,,for my ladies in flood trays......i run scrog in 2 of the 4 x 8 trays and 1 tray is not.....some strains dont scrog good....
I thank all you for the help.....pioneers of the future

Glad you found your way 420 is blinded by blurple. Youve got the crummiest led sheisters bloating the site there. Everyone is turned zombie from the koolade.

I am enjoying following all of this led information
Personally I am not 100% sold that cob is it
Look at what Greengenes is doing with the AT600. Haven't seen a cob produce more impressive visual results yet
I think there still may need to be more research and testing to find the "secret sauce" spectrum if one is to save electricity while still delivering the goods

There is no secret sauce to COBs I've trimmed and dried 1.04 gpw so far and still waiting for the rest to fully dry I'm guessing 1.44gpw 3lbs off 930watts is great in my book no ac or Co2 this is the tent before I harvested

Here's one of the plants that came out of the 930watt tent HSO Blue Dream
