If you think that could ever happen you're either stupid or ignorant (or both). Why would eliminating "too big to fail" financial institutions on Wall St. be a bad thing?
Are any of the GOP candidates having any meaningful debates or discussions about the financial sector or regulations or accountability? Anybody besides Sanders? As far as I'm aware, Trump is the frontrunner and he's campaigning on scaring the everloving shit out of republicans. It's interesting to watch how easily people can be controlled through fear. He's talking about building a wall on the Mexican border, banning all Muslims from entering the country, using torture - even if it doesn't work, eliminating civil liberties, all while speaking at a child's level so he's easy to understand and everything he says can be reduced to simple sound bites that can be played on repeat. His popularity among republicans is a reflection of themselves. They're largely uneducated, religious, white, poor or lower middle-class, blue collar working people. Many of them hold racial prejudices so they're drawn to the GOP by default. Unfortunately for them, Trump's economic and tax policy's benefit the upper-class and will ultimately harm them, and economic growth, as a result.

It could happen through legislation, a proactive executive who makes it a priority and a politically active electorateIf you think that could ever happen you're either stupid or ignorant (or both).
More money flows through Wall Street than you could even realistically imagine.
"Bigger than sovereign wealth" big money...
Because Obama's policies have been so good for the poor and blacks... Oh wait...Why would eliminating "too big to fail" financial institutions on Wall St. be a bad thing?

He doesnt understand how the political machine works. No, it couldn't...
You're a clueless dreamer.
That's how it has to happenNo, it couldn't
Your position is so tenuous that youre asking me to prove a negative? That's how it has to happen
You haven't explained why "it couldn't", NLXSK1's response is expected and hilarious seeing as his and RR's libertarian paradise is miles from reality. If you think breaking up the TBTF financial institutions is naive, dissolving the United States government is impossible.
Campaign finance/money in politics is the number one issue we face. This issue affects us both, liberals/progressives and conservatives alike. The state of things ensures corporations pick the candidates, not the American people. This issue alone is what will elect Clinton to the presidency. Maybe that's something we can all come together on as, even though she'll win, she's universally hated among both liberals and conservatives.
That alone should highlight the failure of the current democratic process to anyone willing to pay attention
Retards like MuyLoco praise the loophole the Citizens United ruling gave to the republicans believing it will help them (even though it get's democrat's elected!), and there are many ignorant like him who feel the same way because of propaganda. Instead of having the '1 person 1 vote' thing like the democratic process is supposed to be.. They'd rather rig the system in their favor when it favors them.. Meanwhile, those on the left want all money out of politics and believe in the democratic process, even if it doesn't favor them.. They make the choice almost too easy..
All of our voices should equally be heard, not just the wealthy ones and the fact that most republicans are working class Americans and vote against their interests is one of the most successful propaganda campaigns ever devised
"Do ya hate the blacks! Are ya tired of them takin' all them real American jobs? Well, get with the new republican party! We've devised a new Southern Strategy! Them blacks'll know their place soon enough!"
No, I'm asking you to provide citations that support your belief that the TBTF Wall St. financial institutions are unregulatable and sources for why you believe it's an impossible task when it's been done successfully beforeYour position is so tenuous that youre asking me to prove a negative?
OK then, I guess we should just let em do whatever the fuck it is that they want to do..If you try clamp down on Wall Street they could collapse your economy in hours.
"Gobble gobble gobble"...No, I'm asking you to provide citations that support your belief that the TBTF Wall St. financial institutions are unregulatable and sources for why you believe it's an impossible task when it's been done successfully before
OK then, I guess we should just let em do whatever the fuck it is that they want to do..
Do you realize how unbelievably stupid this statement is?
"They do it, we can't do shit about it, so fuck it..."
What kind of weak ass pussy shit is that?
No, I'm afraid that's not how we in reality operate.. Someone fucks something up that affects all of us, we fucking get to the bottom of it and do something about it. Fuck you and your Neville Chamberlain response to adversity in the financial sector. Did you like that? How I used your retard's own reference against you?
"Can" and "Should" are two different questions. Can we? Of course we fucking can. You're a failed defeatest pussy for believing we can't. Should we? Of course we fucking should. You're a failed defeatest pussy for believing we shouldn't, because your failed defeated pussy ass doesn't think we can.
How would breaking up the TBTF financial institutions "collapse the economy"?I'm not saying its technically impossible, I'm saying it would collapse your economy
Let me say again...How would breaking up the TBTF financial institutions "collapse the economy"?
....and a "have not".No, it couldn't...
You're a clueless dreamer.
