If i give my plant 20 hours dark 4 hours light whould it be diffrent

i would say that the plant's may initially grow faster due to the root system having more time to form, (we sometimes see the same behaviour with runner beans) how ever the more likely situation would be that the plant grows slower and will probably flower or hermi as soon as it gets a little bigger.

I can tell you're not too bright, so hopefully this is clear enough for you to understand: The plant will not produce any decent bud under 4/20
 
You'll be lucky if the plant produces anything, as it can only photosynthesize for 4 hours out of 24.

As for attitude, you asked the dumb question dude, don't be all surprised you are getting smart ass answers. And if you truly think your question was scientific and with merit, you are a dumb ass and Red is gonna put a foot up your ass.

Think how you would feel if you could only eat breakfast. Come dinner time you'd be kinda hungry. That's how your plant would feel.
 
If you want to flower as quickly as possible, here are my recommendations. Begin your veg on a 18/6hr cycle and pull 1 hour every day for a week, I hope your either doing SOG or have some brutal genetics... Otherwise it is possible you wont get much of a yield.
 
i have heard of guys running 10 hours of light during flowering. does it make a difference i would say only in the electric bill. there is a minium amount of light needed by a plant to grow and i dont think 4 hours is enough or even close. you could do 14-16 hours and you could get good growth. also known guys to run 24 hours of light to grow. i would that 24 hours of light is to much the plants do need to sleep and rid gases and such. but thats only what i read
 
Some of you are only dogging this guy. If you can't give him an answer than don't start highjacking his thread with hate posts.
 
This guy isn't going to get anything out of his plants if there is only 4 hours of light. It really is a strange question. I will have to side with gobbly and serapis on this. He'll most likely kill his plants, turn them into hermies or males or produce little yield that's worth smoking.
