isn't this site a .org. that means not for profit. so, that's probably why it's ran the way it is. as far as icmag not allowing free advertisement, i understand why. a large portion of the icmag community are extremely skilled at what they do and are highly reputable. so, advertisement is sort of like prime realestate. why would i let someone try to sell product to my clientele which i don't receive a cut from, that's just smart business. plus, you have lots of breeders and their goons, manning their own forum which makes it great to ask questions as a point of reference. is, there bullshit politics? hell, yeah but, i look at it as shit to laugh at. as far as, getting a polyhybrid on the boo or the bay well that takes some time you can send them in as freebies to be given out but, just starting your own seed company with some amateur crosses and getting them on either site isn't gonna happen. your genetics would have to be proven. anyway, trying to compare riu to icmag isn't a fair comparison. riu is a .org with lets say, most of the traffic being wanna be or first time growers and very few actual connoisseurs and cultivators. icmag's demographic would be the inverse. don't get my post twisted, i love riu it defintely helped me out, kind of like my high school sweetheart but, once i got with a woman, man did i really find out what love was. so, much history, so, many sub forums, and most of the best breeders are there or have been there at some point in time. look how dj short took the time to call out attitude on selling fake dj shorts gear, if it wasn't for icmag who'd know.
