sept 21st.JPGsept. 21st looking stout and healthy.JPGtransplanted yetersay.JPGmy retard.JPG almost a month.JPGThe 1st, 3rd, and last pic are showing signs of slow growth....they r growing but slow. they also exhibit curling. 1 of these 2 r showing a different hue of green, a lighter/dryer shade. but i just transplanted them yesterday w/ fresh soil & i don't think it needs water....maybe too much moisture. I was reading UNCLE BEN'S post about light & heat problems, and i know 1 was burned a little by the light but recovered....still looking the same.

THE 4TH PIC I CALL THE "RETARD" i called it that b/c i never expected it to grow...i got more cfl's and it's growing nicely but.......it's wierd it developed a Y formation IOW instead of growing new fan-leaves from the top of the plant all the time it's growing in 2 ways like that. i heard things like this w/ cutting or bending etc. BUT i nevr did those things.....maybe, the only thing i can think of, is when i handled it when re-potting i did something.

THEN there is the 2nd pic which has grown at a staedy state b ut is short and stout. i call him "Mr. stout"

my gut is telling me its the heat and light i have over 15,000 lumens on 4 plants really 3 for the most prt. mixed w/ 2700k and 5000k, 42watt. small grow space, that IS hurting the 1st & 3rd pic. THE retard and Y formation i don;t know what to make of it.
btw they r 3 wks. old.... i guess as a noob i get inpatient and expect dramatic results. but i NEED HELP IDENTIFYING THIS, it doesn't seem major now but can be.

thanx in advance, BEST WISHES & HAPPY GROWING....joey:leaf::wall:

hahaha a strainer lol

they look ok, let them get a set of mature leaves (5 points) before you start tinkering with them, babies are always touchy

Thanx O.G, i guess it's unanimous (sic) .....too much water. it's starting to dry now on top....but the middle and bottom layers r moist. so i won't water it and the roots can seek out the water....no? i remember reading that a couple times.

yep, to much water. its suffocating the young roots. water only when the soil is dry atleast 3 in down. you want the tap root reaching for water, not drowning in it.

How big are your pots? When I put small babies in a bigger pot I'll just give'em
enough water to get going don't soak the dirt if it's fresh dirt you don't have to
flush it till water comes out of the bottom. What dirt you using that's an important
element to a good start!
