Im not calling you all liars or fakes but a good amount of people with cards simply don't need it...its just a ploy to get bud legally...i cant say i hate them for it...but anyway...onto this possibly legit thread (if its not or if its in the wrong place i apologize...close it but take mercy on my account mods! how about a warning?).

anyway im a legal prop 215 card holder in ca (with all valid/current paperwork).

recently i've had a pretty good sized overgrow...rather than give it to shady people with potential shady intentions id rather help out those who actually need it and i know here on RIU we have lots of people with legit illnesses in which mj helps them.

id like to network on here with those who are legit/honest people with honest problems.

i think it would be great to get a topic/thread/area of the forum dedicated to allowing those in each medical state (with valid cards/paperwork) to network with others in their state to find/trade/donate/reimburse etc for clones, seeds, and other mj related products.

i believe i can be one of those who can help the truly sick as im not out for profit or to "get rich". its just that i suffer from certain conditions/issues myself and know what its like to not get that help/service you need.

can we do it riu or am i not sober enough for this threaD?

i wouldnt say "giving it away" but im also not lookin for profit...just basically @ cost is more like it. Im aware there are lots of fakes im just lookin 4 those with legit illnesses in which mj helps. Especially those who cant leave their homes or travel far.

Do the laws in your state allow you to give it away or sell it for cost? Don't you have to be a care giver or have a dispensary license?

Hey dude, good topic. I'm a legal card holder in Michigan myself and I can say it really helps me for my problem. Sure, there are lots of people that have a card and don't need it... but isn't that the case with any drug?

How many doctors will pump their patients full of Vicodin, Xanax, Oxycontin, Valium, Ultrum, when they really don't need it?
Prescription drug abuse is a far bigger issue that needs to be looked at besides MMJ card holders who really don't need it IMO.

It's sad really, but there will always be abusers..

I know in my state I am legally allowed to have 5 patients including myself since I am a card carrier. I can discuss with each of them a payment structure if I want money at all... but some caregivers don't ask for anything in return since they get enough self gratitude by supplying sick people with free medicine. It is a humbling experience to be able to help someone.

But there is paperwork involved if I am to be a primary caregiver for someone. I wouldn't be able to supply to just any card holder here on RIU or in my neighborhood.

He wasn't pointing fingers at anyone, but just making a generalization that is probably accurate... though nobody can really tell anyone else what kind of pain they're experiencing, there are plenty of shady doctors that hand out cards and medications to anyone who asks for it. And not everyone is a good and honest person unfortunately.

and in Michigan you cant give away meds and you cant charge for growing htem but you can charge for your "expenses".
I charge my patients on a month to month basis, some months they can pay for it and some they cant. If I was in it for the money I wouldnt do it.

im not allowed to "sell" it...im only allowed to seek donations to cover the expenses...being this is INDOOR and my electricity bill is high...and pencil in the fact that i but feminized seeds it does get quite expensive...especially if you count in everything else related to it. im not looking to sell them for a profit...just pretty much cover my costs...which im 110% legal to do in the state of california.

i agree. this is no different. some have it for only legit reasons...some have it for 50/50 (recreation and legit reasons) and some just have it to be able to smoke legally for recreational purposes....not to mention those that probably dont use mj at all and just got the card to "Get rich"...etc.

im not pointing fingers...im simply saying there are people out there with cards that do not need them for any medical related condition/illness. the only problem with busting them and preventing them from getting a card is some of the reasons mj can help someone is hard to verify...like if you went to an mj doctor and complained of something like headaches or backpain...its really hard to prove you dont have headaches or back pain...so if you keep a poker face about it you'll get one...ive known people who've done things like that (or they told me they didnt need one, just faked it for the card).

so there ARE fakes out there...i dont need to go to any school to spot a liar.

thats exactly what i was doing. im not claiming anyone on RIU is or isnt abusing the system im just saying it happens. my point of this thread isnt to dispute that...its to connect with the seriously ill...the ones stuck in bed...or stuck and home in general...those with cancer...ms...whatever the case may be.

not just someone who has "pain" who is bluffing because as far as im concerned those faking it can go to a dispensary and pay $300 per oz. i wanna give this at a deep discount to actually help those that need it...

so why not give it away literally you ask? because i cant afford to maintain my grows and not seek some type of payment for my costs...im not rich, wealthy or whatever you want to call it...no...not even "ghetto rich"...

u missed the point obviously...i could go to cl and "sell" it but i dont want to sell anything...just help those who need it...thats why i specifically said id be interested in working an arrangement out with someone who has a SERIOUS medical condition...there are more of the fakes on CL and less of the true medical users.

if you dont like what im posting you what you can do...click that little x on the very top corner of you screen. ;)

your no different than any other card holder. im a 215 card holder, and it seems the only thing your mad at is u cant off your yield. your weed sucks dude. dont start sayin that patiens are fakers. you should be banned from growing in this state. they should start a proposition that says u cant grow... grow better smoke and u might feel better.

Your attitude against fellow card holders sucks. You're talking down to people that you think have cards that don't deserve it. Truth is you, we, medical, and the mj community need all the support we can get. Do you think the only people that voted medical into state law were people with debilitating illnesses? I don't think so. Without the support of EVERYONE that has supported and keeps supporting it, you wouldn't even have the option of being a MMJ patient yourself. I'd say drop the attitude against fellow mmj cardholders and have some compassion for everyone.

Yeah, I am very grateful that it is legal for medicinal purposes in my state and I am also grateful that I was approved for one. I get migraines multiple times a week, and while some people would argue that it's not as bad as crohns disease or something more serious, it definitely provides me with relief. While in most cases with my headaches Marijuana doesn't always fix it, it does offer the immediate relief that pills can not. If I toke up a bit, take a really hot shower and then relax... I can cope until a few Aspirin or Ibuprofen kick in.

I guess for me it doesn't even boil down to the card... I'm cool with all people who smoke marijuana for any purpose as long as they're responsible.

:confused: when did i mention once that:
A) im mad about not being able to get rid of my yield? i always get rid of my yield...it goes straight into my body and other 215 cardholder friends i have...always...think about it...do you REALLY think im here because, "i have mj and my HUUGGEE problem is i dont know what 2 do with it"? is that what you REALLLLLY think?

b) my meds suck? how would you know how good or bad my meds are? have you smoked some? doubt it as it hasnt left my grow place...infact i thought the meds i have this time around were the best ive done to be honest with you. ive received more compliments than you'd think from friends i had try it...not 1 complaint thus far. so dont go making blind opinions when you cant even judge what i have or its quality

i have friends who faked their way to getting a card...im not knocking them...we're still friends haha...since my meds were grown with care i want someone who needs it to enjoy it...especially since what i have is very medical in my opinion (depression, anxiety, insomnia, pain, all gone with this strain)
