Ideas?

Just came up on about 10 grams of quality bho. Best thing to do with it? Just ordered some bubble bags. The full 8 bag IPower set. Thinking about taking over the hash game light weight and crashing in on some stuff super late. Thoughts?

Your getting bubble bags, that's awesome now you can make some water hash. And as far as taking over the hash game, or even becoming a player for that matter, you need to be pushing the envelope and developing new techs otherwise you'll just blend into the other 10,000 guys making average hash at home. Good luck, I'd suggest a lot more research. Hash church and Frenchy Cannoli's thread are two places you might want to start.

You will be disappointed with the I power bags.

1 micron sizes are off and yield will be smaller compared to bubblebags
2. The bags will start flaking off after a couple uses.
3. The I power bags don't fit buckets like bubblebags do.

Thank you guys for the information. I looked at a lot of reviews on the IPower set and all the reviews I saw were great and mentioned it's durability. Some even said the made the conversion to them instead of brand name bubblebags. How do ipower bags sit in % gallon buckets? And is the micron size really off? That's disappointing. Please keep info rolling in as I continue to read through other threads in this forum. I'll def check out those resources PKHydro. I'm a bit more level headed (sober) this morning though who doesn't aspire to baron status?

I'm surprised no one else has stopped in to call me a fool yet. What are your favorite ways to purge? I've read about how water (even at extremes to the point of boiling the water) also purges 2-5% and that most producers, even 'well accredited/trusted' brands, don't even purge in the vacuum to the point of near-nothing butane and impurities because of the loss of terpenoids and terpenes, etc. They don't want the loss of flavor and mass.

Therefore, it seems to me that ice wax has to be the way to go, right? I mean, it's so much cheaper in the long run and if you even get cold enough RO water and ice, you pretty much can get nothing but the least impurities from the plant theoretically (good technique, great quality broken up buds, the right equipment and disregarding human error, of course ), right?

If I want quality, I'm thinking original or standard bubblebags or Selecta's brand. I might start with IPower just to see the potential of the hash, then disappoint myself enough with the bags and their inferior work and give myself the right to buy the bags. In any case, at about $30.50 (shipping included) it would be a fun project with near limitless potential (limited by the bags condition and availability of material) that was worth it in just the experience.

All that is IMO, but that was given, wasn't it?

Any case, if you stuck around to read this, I'm interested in any thoughts or Ideas (omg, he said the title) you had on the subject of hash, hash production and anything else aon your mind. Call me a fool if you want. I'll only get wiser.

Also, what the hell do I search to get screens to come up on amazon? I'm one of those weird googlers that doesn't want to say 'hash screens' but maybe 'screen kit' would show up- I thought. but all I got was printing press screens. I've just been looking at MnH's sift tutorial and other's and it's something I tried to do so long ago and never was in a position to do so. I'm sure this is a faq somewhere. I simply haven't been too far into this area of the forum. I'm a new member, long lurker. Open to some links being dropped, also.

I know, what a hilarious claim. Everyone saw what happened to Matt Rize when he tried to take over. He tried hard. Everyone knows how to make it better than the last person and weed is so hard to regulate, esp at this point. No way for anyone to be at the top. Weed is for the people. It's supposed to be free. If you farm it, than you get what you put in, but otherwise...

Look up bubbleman on youtube, as well as d420k. They have tons of info on bubble hash and dry sift, and proper techniques for drying and curing your water hash, and different ways to clean your sift, as well as the best screen sizes. I believe the dry sift screens are measured in LPI (lines per inch).

Bubbleman also hosts hash church every sunday, he has all 52 episodes on his channel. They all pretty much run for 3 hours or more, but his panel of guests are industry leaders who are openly sharing their collective knowledge on hash and more.

So... I did a few experiments with my bho that I helped produce next to a seasoned producer.

This was just that outdoor shake/popcorn nug possibility/sugar leaf trim stuff. Nothing too great blasted with Whip It's 5x Refined. The producer said their stuff was just the cleanest it needed to be at 5x since they've been producing their own NO^2 for over 60 years

We produced this with two coffee filters (though one popped a hole for a bit). We open end blasted outside on a warm breezy day into a metal bowl warmed by water in an electric griddle. We then built a vacuum chamber using electrical tape for the seal on the lip of a steel double broiler pot which was taped and sealed to a circular piece of wood. We had cut and sealed into place a strong grower's can fan not 8 inches from the lip of the bowl containing wax when placed inside of the system. We purged in this sealed vacuum for nearly two hours. As this was an experiment (new method for him, new for me except one time making bho in 9th grade. It was gold, I didn't purge it and all I wanted to do was smoke it. But I couldn't get it to work in my pipe. XD :'( ), we adjusted the system in ways we felt might improve it's efficiency. We used heat from water, pierced a small hole, cut away the tape to check about 1:15 in and even felt the pull by encountering resistance when just trying to lift the wooden lid from the steel pot's metal kiss. It bubbled and bubbled and bubbled.

We pulled some 24 grams off a case and he still had material.

I tried some that night. It had me coughing a storm. I've since been purging.

I whipped some that sat in the sunlight purging via indirect radiation (which also breaks down cannabinoids, just slower than purging the butane, from what I hear, at least) into an earthy golden hued brown... It was nice.

I took that and some of the oil I didn't whip and purged and decarboxylated it on parchment paper placed on a rack in the oven at the lowest setting (200 F), occasionally even turning it off with the door open. I whipped out any bubbles as they come out and boy did it bubble at times. I then removed this and put in the freezer or left it on the counter before placing it back in the oven to purge again, depending on whether I thought it purged enough for the round or not. I must've repeated this step at least 20 times over the course of the last two days.

I did this again with the oil I didn't whip after it sat in indirect sunlight for a day and then put it along with the first purged and decarbed batch into 2 cups of vegetable oil. If I didn't whip it in, it almost sat on top looking greasy for a while. When I did, it disappeared quickly into the veggie oil's greedy mass.

2 cups=3(2/3 cups)=3 batches of brownies, cake, cookies, etc. Most of my stuff calls for 2/3 cups and I need more, I'll just warm it up and whip in some more oil or maybe even some more decarbed bho if I need less for a given recipe.I know lecithin is supposed t incresed the bioavailibility of many vitamins and nutrients the body. I also want some coconut oil for this.

The dosage I made on my brownies were low but great anyway. I got so lit, and honestly buzzed really soon due to the bioavailibility of the converted thc and the cbd that was produced lent to the heavy stone that eddibles are known for. Which is great. Just means I get to look at it that way. I was still soaring a bit for a while. The effects lasted all work long and even now, though it did wane. I'd say felt something at 15, good at 30, 'What, is this all?' at 45, really high at 1.5 for a great time. But work can kill your high fast,

Made 16 brownies. 1.5 whole (2 reg servings a brownie) for me, 2 for some brothers of me=12.5 brownies :'D
7.5 in the fridge, 5 in the freezer. They really hardened up when they set. It's kinda crazy dense. They're missing 1 egg, were cooked with hash and at lower temps (300F and then 280ishF, though my stove is older so... it will be off. That's why I esp turned it down. I want a candy thermometer. Off to the store!) longer than it called for, so I guess it all evens out.

If I put the value of 1 gram bho into this batch, made 16 brownies that were all street value $5-10 minimum, well...
1 x $20 = $20 vs 16 x 5/10 = $80/160
Hm... I like that math. And if I put in say... $55 for 1 case of butane and get 12 g of bho that's worth at least

That's 395 back in value. And if you use 1 gram in a single batch of brownies valued at $80...

So, for an investment of $55, and since my partner has all the access to material I need, I can get a profit value of $1,760. Wow, that's great. with the extract bags being about $30.50, for a one time investment on the materials and maybe ice, I should, in theory increase my profit limited only by the bags' potential, correct? Still considering getting a master case of Whip Its to blow with.


I know I'm doing nothing new. I thank all who came before in any and all ways and laid everything that I walk on today when advancing this lifestyle and all else. Without all of you, I not only wouldn't be, if I was, would I even be a caveman? Or would I be some even lesser advanced creature? Would I be a microbe? (besides my ranting [This is just science, Officer. Nothing illegal, just some chemistry], anyone wondering what the announcement NASA is going to make, today?).

Was reading a lot of threads that said the same thing between RIU an TC even referencing each other, lol. Stuff was great. Even found a really interesting read about reclaim's effectiveness as an eddible ingredient and 'heat tempered' (decarbed at extreme heats) hash products.

I dabbed to compare any subtle differences over various steps. I would like to think it got better over time. Anyway, going off to order the extraction bags tonight. Really probably gonna get the ipower for now, at least. By the time they're flaking or I'm truly dissatisfied, I expect to have some return from something allowing me to !!!....////****LEVEL UP**** \\\\....!!!

Anyway, please excuse my vague introduction into the forum. Kinda wasn't sure where to go so I wanted a a random wind to blow me in an interesting direction. This very well may confuse some because of my scattered yapping; this may make sense to everyone. I do not know. Feedback is great. Will gladly take some. Anyone want pics? Before I do the work of putting them up, I want to make sure they at least have an audience that wants to see them.
