Ideas on lack of flowering.

So i tried my first attempt at DWC . All in all I found it Lot easier then soil grow , no deficiency at all , the plant looks really nice and healthy. Tree truck stem on it as thick as my middle finger , roots nice and white with weekly res changes and daily ph checks and adjusting. I topped it early in the grow to keep it small which sort of worked . Its about 50cm tall. The thing is it's had just one pre flower since the 5th of november with no change. Its like its competly stopped growing bigger leaves and fatten up around the budding sites. It still looks healthy , but no flowers. Its been on 12/12 since the 18th of last month.

Is it somthing to do with hydro thats making it not flower i used Canna Coco A/B only ? I dont see how its a light leak as im growing in a cabinet and gone around all the edges to block out light , and the power board with a light is in a seperate compartment. It shouldnt be a 'need more light' as ive used this light before and things flowered ok - i flowered that grow in card board box with a sheet over it. Maybe its oxygen but i installed a bathroom fan so figured that would be good for a little cabinet.

No idea whats going on. The only thing its good for is clones.

Humidity or lack of oxygen is what im think has caused the problem. Today is the hottest day of the year and record temps for november ....climate change much. 110f / 40degree C , internally the cabinet is 31c which I think is alright - not ideal.

I had the intake fan on the bottom on the cabinet sucking cooler air from under the house , with a opening at the top for the air to vent out. I changed this today so i have the at the top sucking the air out while (passively?) drawing the air in. I think temps are lower so maybe this is working better.

A couple of times ive noticed moisture on some leaves from humidity even with the fan sucking in alot of cooler air so maybe this will solve that problem and i'll have more luck next time.

there has to be a light leek some where? something as small as a screw hole can cause it. use the vid. camera on your phone. put it in side and close the door

If you haven't sat in cabinet with lights out, how do you know it's light proof. Also timers get old and will come on at odd times for 15 minutes and then go off.

I have to agree with cana on that one

I sit in my rooms for at least 20 for.my eyes to fully adjust

the light shining out makes sense too but id rather be absolute

I've never done a cabinet. But I've gone outside at night to check for light leaks at windows and rooflines. Looked great. Then sat in room at night with lights out. It glowed in the room. Street light came at odd angle at top of window. Had light from upstairs bathroom affect a bedroom grow downstairs. Light reflected through air ducting. Sit inside for 20+ minutes with all lights on out of it. Duct tape isn't light or air proof.

a tiny light leak wont effect your Plants its the prolong bright direct light witch does it ...someone told me hes been growing for 30 years and his room has slight leaks and never harmed his plants. :)

image.jpg Where are your genetics from?

I can't belive any of these jokers and there temp and light leak issue.

My temps touch the 90's for the light cycle and the plants do fine, little slower with higher temps. No, not running c02

I've also had light leaks in my tents for cycles and the plants are fine.

These are plants, outside is never completey dark either and they finish outside.

Just my coffee thoughts.

This tent in particular has had a light leak the whole time. Plants look ok to me.
