Idea for a new section on RIU

I was thinking and realized a lot of people ask if "Such and such paper/pipe/vape/exc is good or not" and it got me to thinking... Why not have a section for posting reviews for such things?


I think it should be a little more controlled like you get approved to post there so it doesn't get filled with people going "Buy my product cause its good"


I noticed that RIU comes up normally when you search for such reviews anyways, so why not?

I think that is a good idea. Threads get started on categories of items, e.g. nutes, odor control, etc., but you have to go search for them and then sift through thread-jacked bullshit.

Sounds good to me. The thought had crossed my mind a few times too, toke n talk is full of those threads so it would help group them up a bit and help people out at the same time.

I think if there was a subcatagory in Toke and talk.

"Your drug paraphernalia"

they got a lot of work to do on this sight.

thats a great idea but I would actually do this...

+new category: "Smoking devices" or whatever u want call it..
so everyone can post about... their pipes, bongs, vaps, etc... and everything related to any "smoking device" then...

+sub-category: Smoking devices > Reviews
here people could post ONLY reviews...

so we could have a place to have our regular stoner threads (like... "look my new bong!!" or "vape vs smoke" etc) and a section for reviews

Thats pretty good addition

I'm not really interested in the smoking devices part ... i'm interested in reviews of seeds banks, growing products, and the horticulture side, so it would be somewhat different I think.

I mean it'd be pretty cool if there was a system of voting.
Every week a new product could be asked to be "tested" and everyone can give their feedback on the product and what the think it deserves on a scale.
Say...


- it's Amazing.
- it's good.
- Theres room for improvement.
- Half assed.
- pure shite!


or something like that.

The voting system sounds like a good idea.

There's a lot of stuff that needs to happen to RIU.
i know the Admin work hard etc.

The guy who owns the page did it. By the time he realized his mistake, it was really too late. If you go to the photog section, you'll see that he's a prolific u/w photog. Interesting guy, good friend.

There are friendly fish that are, in their own wet way, good to pet. Hell, goldfish can be taught things, cichlids, watch out. Triggerfish are almost as smart as we are.

Hey, I started a thread about shade cloth and I could REALLY use your input. I think I've got to start trying to control the heat, because plants that weren't hit with my super nuke fertilizer and killed directly are showing some real signs of stress that I'm thinking may be heat. The thread has your name in the title.
