it wont cover big plants, but if you dont have time to acclimate or move them and theyre small enough, this has shielded them enough for me in the past.thats one put out a few weeks ago and just recently started to get moving.it has not shown sex yet
I have to cover my sprouts with screen like that. Not because of the sun, since they are never inside. It's because of the damn grasshoppers. Once the plants are 5-6 inches tall they are pretty safe. But grasshoppers will wipe out a tray of sprouts like a thru hiker will go through a bag of trail magic mini Snickers.

I have a redneck rig going right now, trying to get these big enough. A shelving unit I found in an old shed covered with window screens. Has been working so far.

Damn man, those are huge. I had an early crop of heirloom homesteads that we picked on for a little over a month. I didn't up pot them, so they are all about done now. I was late starting the Pruden's Purple, Yellow Pear and Brandywine, {the ones in five gallon buckets} so they are still about a week away from being ripe.

Nice greenhouse setup. Yep, backyards are a lot easier than swamp crawling.

Any Goldmines doing the heavy preflower thing?

A friend in Maine has a couple that are growing / vegging normally and a couple of others from the same seed pack are looking like they are beginning to flower already.
