I want to start growing using hydroponics

Can anyone tell me the basic things I will need to start growing say 5 plants.

I am going to buy from hydroponicz.net.

Light, water, fertilizer, PH down and PH up (Mostly just down), potting medium ( Rockwool, coco coir, hydroton). Ebb and flow table or DWC container . Probably need some water pumps, timers, air pumps, air stones, air line also. Sharp pair of scissors for pruning and harvesting. TDS meter.

A 3x3 hydro setup will cost you 300 dollars but if you make your own you can do it for half that or less. The most expensive part is the Hydro drain tray.

Money is not a problem. I'm thinking about buying a chamber at quickgrowcanada.com, is that good?? Or would it be better if I do it on my own.

i say look on craigs list. where i am right now there is 2 peeps offering complete grow kits for like 300-400 dollars. they got lights trays timers nutes. once you get outa pot you just wanna get rid of your gear it looks like. also they got whole grow cabs, the sveral tohusand variety for under agrand. I would go with the light and trays so you can make your setup as big or as good as you want and not be locked in.
that is what i would do. wish every day when i see those deals i could start all over! lol.
