hello i live in a area where medical marijuana has just been legalized. where do i begin to be able to be involved in growing/caretaker, distributing it legally? if the place is a factor, i would like if anyone knew what the status of medical marijuana in Washington D.C. is?

A good place to start is pricing out equipment check ebay first. Sometimes you can get a package deal. if you haven't grown before read up on this forum first.

I'm pretty familiar with growing. and equipment and a place is not an issue i just want to know if anybody on this forum grows legally for medicinal reasons and how they got the proper licensing to do so. i just have no idea where to begin looking up that info and want to know how other people became approved to do so.

I don't know to much on the topic, but I believe that your supposed to find patients to grow for first? Then depending on the number of patients and how much each one is prescribed, your able to grow so many plants for every patient. The patients buy it from you. But Ive seen marijuana documentaries and the process in order to grow weed medically was ridiculous. They needed to know every single piece of information about you, were talking everything, and yet what your doing was still completely illegal by federal law.

DC is now a medical state? fuck right on!!! So is it a federal crime there being the white house is so close?

I know in California all you have to do is go in to the medical marijuana card issuer and tell them you want to be a caregiver. After that you pay a fee of anywhere from $95 to $225.00 it also matters if you have state medical. (They will give you a discount.):blsmoke:

after looking into it a little bit further i found out its pretty much to late for me start a dispensary however it is relatively simple to become a caregiver with very little effort, witch could allow me to grow in that department also make it much easier to work for any of the dispensaries that are to come up. i think my next step is going to be to talk to someone in their health regulation and licensing department and see whats it really gonna take to get a caregivers card. also another interesting thing i found out in the link you gave me was a list of applicants for cultivation centers and with a little bit of investigating in these start up centers i could probably hook some things up who knows. and thanks GrowFinene.com for the info it was really cool of you!
