I wanna grow shrooms.

The trick with the popcorn is in the sterilisation...

put the corn in the PC, but boil the water seperately in another pot...

Then pour the boiling water in the pot with the corn and PC for 25 minutes...

(waiting for the water to heat up, with the corn in is apparently casue for many people's problems.)

then pour in sterilised jars and PC again for another 30 to 60 minutes.

I got lucky accidentaly with my corn... Old PC, requires some effort to get it to seal properly...which I didn't and it cooked dry, giving some of the corn little brown burn spots...

These spots seemed to be the first place the myc went into...

Shrooms are easy as fuck to grow. Go to you tube and type in pf tek. This will explain everything.

Yeah I just innoculated 6 half-pint jars of BRF and vermiculite and 4 pints of LC, hoping to use half the BRF as cakes and chop the other three up to use as spawn for some horse manure and straw tubs. The LC will be used from then on as I experiment, finding the easiest and most efficient method for me. I can't wait to have some shrooms poppin up!

awesome... get LC's down you wont ever have to make spore prints or wait on syringes again!
i only had a couple successful LC's, used Karo once and honey in one.

you should check out a cool little book store , homestead book company, they have a complete start to finish "kit". i cant say enough good about it.

Why check out a book store when it's on youtube. there are 6 parts I belive. Pf tek is the easiast way to grow.

Shroom tea would be a better and more viable method than soup I would assume, although if the active ingredients survived the heat I assume that would be a tasty alternative!
