Can i make something out of household items?
What do i need and where do i get the stuff?
Im gonna need help with this but i refuse not to grow shrooms.I need a new project!

good luck man. Growing shrooms is hard. Takes a lot of practice cuz so much goes wrong. Your gonna need a pressure cooker too. If you lucky you can mabey expact some shrooms in about a month. But its probably gonna take longer. Good luck.

Yo bro growing shrooms is a project not much harder than growin ganja as long as you do your research and know what you are doing... And just like growing weed there are plenty of resources available, the only limitation is yourself bro.

id suggest start out with the PF tek (whats described in the above videos)
you will spend about $2-3 per jar (jar, brown rice flour, vermiculite, water, spores) and pressure cooker is about $35 at wallyworld
or you can buy them premixed and sterilized for about $3 a jar
a very fun hobby, can be frustrating but stick with it and tis very rewarding.
suggest a few strains, cambodian, alacabenzi, south american

once you get the system down you can mix like 120 jars an hour...
its STERILIZING them thats a pain.. thats why you end up with 3 pressure cookers..

you can expect 3.5g-7g dried a per jar/cake once you get the hang of it

Yea how do ya store them... This has been a concern considering they are like food to me..Mushrooms are aomething people eat im sure they go bad so how do u keep them good. .... And how and how long do they stay good...?Very nice question sir..

yea dried mushrooms will lose all potentcy fast once they start getting over 90.. dry them out very very well before storing. i usually add some silica packets from beef jerky to the bag. and store in a cool place.

stored like this iv had mushrooms be good for 3 months or more.. they always get eaten haha

oh .. man.. seriously. fresh shrooms are a treat few people get to try. and once you share em your friends will go crazy and want them all the time. "lab grown" mushrooms are just special. and its neat once you realize youv grown enough shrooms to trip a few 100 people out

well fresh as in.. wet yea they are good too (as a little like bitter, white button mushrooms) but fresh as in.. havent been sitting around forever. as stated before.. people dont tend to know how to keep them, so when you get them are about 1/2 as potent as they were.
but yea "wet" mushrooms i read get you a little more fucked up because during drying you lose most of the psylocin(sp) and are left with mostly psilocybin , but wet you get all of both.

Haha I just knocked up a bunch of jars for my first grow, can't wait to have some Equadorian shrooms blossoming, in the next month or so!

Im going to grow shrooms without a doubt! I honestly dont know whats going on right now but when im able to comprehend tommorow i will figure this out and put these things together. Im going to retire and put my wizard hat on and discern the things ive been told im sure i will have questions but the truth is always here. I love RIU. Everybodys crazy. Who cares whats crazy.

I did my first batch of 4 jars on monday...
1 has some green shit like bread mold in, so I will chuck that one.
Two are going white fast
1 is starting to make a few white things... (had a very faint spore print to start off.... so it probably just got a low dose)

Bought 4 extra jars yesterday... so I will spread the joy from some of the pots that are doing well into some fresh medium to get more jars filled.

Its so easy so far, can't believe I haven't tried it before...

I used two diffrent kinds of media... some pots with popcorn, some with rye... the popcorn seems to be the winner...and will be what I use in future..

nice to know man! i did some rye-to-straw and really didnt like the rye, i think ill try it again with popcorn
the BRF method is the old standby but its a pain in the ass and the lowest yeilding.
