Remember Bono's spill off his bike in central park while disguised as a hasidic jew, snapped his arm and collar bone up? Good times......probably one of his best hits too..................

I do remember how much of an a-hole this dude was ...
he actually rented a seat to fly his ball cap on the concorde...to Africa....like 10,000 bucks for a ticket.....
while doing an African famine relief concert....
why not donate that cash to some actual food.....?????

Those concerts are all horseshit anyways.
Robin hood Foundation takes the money, pays their execs $750,000 a year. Then they give the leftover money to charities at the state level. State charities pay their execs $250,000 a year and then pass the rest on to city level charities. These charities use it to pay for people and office expenses.

The Haiti fundraiser sent an estimated 7% of total money to actual aid. Then again Haiti did get collora (sp?) and raped by UN peace keepers so lack of money wasn't the worst thing after the storm.

Bono is the least of my worries and he's never been one of the good guys. Just like Ben Afleck and George Clooney they get massive pay cheques to a charity they own, which they take a salary from, in order to play along with the agenda.

actually tim hortons in the smaller markets have a hell of a time hiring good hard working canadians (speaking as someone who has 2 relatives who own tim hortons).. they'd be hooped without the foreign workers.. and running a food safe business and hiring homeless folks does not sound like a winning recipe.. now if they made mandatory full service at all gas stations that would be a start.. course then we would be complaining about the price of gas.. the whole foreign worker thing is huge everywhere, every 1st world country uses foreign workers as a crutch..

Yep kinda like the NFL and their support for breast cancer. Small % goes to the actual cause while the rest gets absorbed by the League and handed out. Exact same way A TON of celebrity charities function. Then they get a nice tax write off, you know for contributing out of the kindness of their hearts and all

ya I meant after the days over the left over food is thrown out, instead why not give it to homeless or those in need? not hire them.
and ya Canadians wont work for low wages even if they need a job or $. so we get outsiders, my old town hires all Africans for thier tim hortons, and houses them, news report were tim hortons owner took employee to bank and kept most of their pays.....
its just sad is my point. people in need and sooooo much fucking waist, go to dumpsters behind big name stores and try and get in lp style garbage bins lol full of good shit they couldn't sell that people could use!
