I had a plant in the window sill and under a 23 watt CFL and it was doing so well until the last three days. When I check on it at night shes is all droopy. When I come back in the morning though the leaves are stretched for the light.

I got some more lights from my friend and decided to move it out of my window sill, with how sketchy that was, but with four lights I cant use my light timer anymore.

Do you think if it gets slightly more droopy throughout the day a 24/0 light cycle would just screw it up?

PS: It might be overwatering?

hell yea, i just realized though, if I induce flowering inside, i need to use the timer for that, and have the other plants in 18/6. So basically I have to keep it in 24/0.

Do yall think its bad to go from 18/6 to 24/0 with one already getting droppy?

I meant like night outside..... lights are still on but its towards the end of their day, like 2-3 hours prior to the lights shutting off

Couple plants I have would start to droop 2 or 3 hrs before lights went off during veg, as if they were anticipating the lights. They turned out fine, would pop back up by the time the lights were back on...was never a problem

as far as the lights, put the cfls as close as they can get without burning the plants. place your hand between the plant and the light. if its too hot for your hand, then its too hot for the plants. what medium are you using? im assuming soil? check to see if the soil is too dry. stick yer finger in to the forst knuckle. if yur finger is dry, then so is the plant. now im not mad, but dont post too much more till you have had a GOOD READ of all the faq's. even if youre not a member, tyhat page will answer 90% of your questions. good luck!

I go 18/6. It's easy to get up and turn them off and on at 12 and 6. And they won't leave veg. Mine are always a little droopy in the morning. Than I foliar feed and make the droop worse. Good strong plants comin to life and stretching during the day. What kind of inclosure did you put them in when you pulled them from the window?

how much are you watering when you do it 4x a day? bc that seems like a lot.
They get watered for 15min 4x's per day. They seem to like it except one, the droopy one. I woke up this morning and the leaves were real high they looked real good thn I checked on it just a lil while ago then that one plant is starting to get a lil droopy again it seems like everytime I check on it they drop I dont think that one droopy one dosent like me. I don't think its a major problem.

Im not home at 12 and 6 though. The most consistent times Im home would be..... probably like 5 and 11.
and even then if I go do something....whole nother story. i dont wanna fuck them up.

Probably the best advice Ive got on this site.

It helped me perfectly, I figured out my high heat was stressing the plants, because when I moved them out of the window I couldn't use the fan I had. Also this heat probably dried out my soil and the multiple switches between dry and wet soil caused my leaves to start closing like a book on each leaflet. And Im using a spray bottle which you may think gets the soil wet but its really just on top and you haven't sprayed a fluid oz outta the bottle.

For anyone it helps, I made a funnel out of books to channel the fan into the set-upand folded back the blanket on top a little to allow air, and since heat rises, the heat to escape, cooling it back down Also Im gonna find a better way of water it and try to keep it alot cooler.

Oh and for the inclosure I used godfrey, it's a drop cieling tile floor with some glossy white wall things for the outer walls. Works pretty well and allows for change.

Im about to start a journal, though my set-ups pretty ghetto.

Shit. Until yesterday my set up was straight jacked. But your enclosure sounds alright. What size is it?
