If you grow in a 5 litre pot you will want to PH balance between 5 and 15 litres of water. Then water the plant with this water untill you have no water left. The water will run out of the bottom of your pots to waste so you may want to do this in a bath or such. This is the basic plain water flush.

What you doing is washing out the built up salts in the soil.

When you have flushed wait a couple of days and you should be able to start your watering/feed schedual.

flushing is jsut tryn to remove the salt build up from feedings... if ur in soil. just calculate the pot size and use 3x the amount of water. one way to do this is bringing containiers 1 by 1 in2 a bath tub for the flush. just hope ur not on carpet. and i dont do this every 3 weeks. only if i sensed a ph prob, or at end of flower.

You dont need to change the lights. Flushing wont effect the buds, the plants just have to live without food for a couple of days after you have flushed. It should use its stored nutrients untill you give it a feed.

I'll be flushing five plants tonight an i'll be using RO water since it's devoid of nutrients and nasties. I'll be reducing the PH to 5.5-6 and using 30L per pot since they are 10L pots.
Dependant upon where you are in the world, some tap water is ladened with all sorts of nasties and i try and avoid these.
I'm no expert though, just makes sense to me:smile:

You can use just plain water, most people do, can be helpful to PH balance the water first saves more work later. If you wish you can use flush addatives, I know canna produce one and Im sure loads of other companies make them. Not sure what the benefit of a flush addative has over plain water, I guess it speeds up the flushing process.

my weed plant is not doing so good its 6 days old and dying
and i dont know why? it was doing good the night before
i could flick it and it would probably rebound back but now its
