Alot of people experience this issue, they stop and they have very lucid dreams It happened to me also.
I think it could be suppressing your brains natural ability to produce DMT but I have no scientific evidence.

People smoke DMT and marijuana together so I don't know if it could hold truths, maybe the amount it suppresses is only small amounts such as dreaming.
I prefer staying away from weed, I react bad to it and I know that it's one of those drugs people use and abuse which is not my thing ;) All drugs stress the brain.

Well dreams are very hard to remember, your body actually does the best it can to not log dreams as memories.
Even a sober mind has trouble recalling details...

Cannabis could in fact make it easier for the brain to forget what you even dreamed about, just a thought.

I smoked a big joint with my friend
and there was an explosion in the sky

I used to dream all the
time when i was on unemployment
Just like Mr. Seinfeld never hurled i never had many while smoking marijuana. It is simple when a mind gets too much marijuana it is able to produce a from
serotinin dream. Before getting supplemental income, i
dreamed all the time. But not while i smoked mariuana
16-28 only one.

i know that when i wake up after 1-2 nights after gettin high, i feel like im waking up with a hangover and my heads all fuzzy. When i havent smoked weed for a while i wake up feelin fresher and sharper and i can nromally realise that i had a dream. But it also depends on how deep the dream was, for example i had a smoke on friday night and personal life had me feelin uneasy from friday to today, and ive had some fucked up dreams. I woke up screaming on friday night some time in the morning, it was really dramatic, i remember thinkin shit i need to try n remember what that was about' but i think after 5 seconds i fallen back to sleep coz i never really even tried to backtrack what i had just dreamed

I also experience this and it sounds as if alot of other do too, i guess that is a plausible explanation, or the fact that we're just too baked to even remember the dream when we wake up haha

I used to remember my dreams as a child...but as I get older I remember them less and less...I often don't have them at all...
I started smoking weed a few years ago, and no change...I still dream only infrequently that I know about...

i read that cannabis alters not the brain's ability to form short term memories

but rather how and when it forms them

we are clearly always having dreams while we sleep. this is a bi-product of sleep

the real question is, what is the utility of remembering them?

i want lucid dreams, but i can think of none which my concious brain learned something valuable from

dreams seem to speak a language that only the subconscious understands.

and so i am, at present, perfectly happy leaving my dreams on the back-processor

but am perfectly attracted to the idea of being convinced to think otherwise

also, this is the problem which made me want to try psylocybin

it is a hydroxolate of DMT, which i believe is also present in small quantities in the mushroom

This hydroxolate is found nowhere else in nature (on earth), makes you think hey.

when i smoke i dont dream as well, and i consider that a good thing. Nothings worst then waking up from a dream and having that shit fuck with you all day. When i dont remember dreams is when i have the best sleep. Its like that mitch hedburg bit

I always thought you dreamt less falling asleep high because you sleep deeper, like if you fall asleep wasted drunk. weed also affects your short term memory, which could make it harder to remember dreams.
I do Not think weed supresses your DMT, when I smoke I get the ole colorful patterns, every time, especially with hash.

Also, this week I've had extrememly vivid dreams that I could remember throughout my entire day, and I get so stoned every night that I can hardly stay awake.

you dream every time you sleep.... but sometimes you remember and sometimes you don't... certain things can affect your dream recall. marijuana is widely known to be one of those things that decrease dream recall. It doesn't seem to effect mine. Which I'm glad because I enjoy dreams and lucid dreaming.

(isn't it still not proven whether or not we release dmt in our sleep... but people just act like it's fact?)
