I think my neighbors are growing

Across the street there's a house I have a gut feeling is growing. It's a bunch of 20-30 somethings living together and there's always about 3 or 4 vehicles outside.

Last summer I noticed one particular bedroom had a lone air conditioner unit hanging out the window. Later I noticed the top half of that window was always dark. I never see a light on in that room. I don't see curtains, but rather a dark board or something blocking out the window.

They finally removed the AC unit when the weather cooled, but still, that room remains dark. With that many people living in the house, someone surely would be utilizing each room as a bedroom.

They're a quiet household. I never see them outside or hear them.

Made me think they're growing.

If I can make those observations and come to the conclusion they're growing, what could other people observe about me to give them the conclusion I'm growing.

Any tips? My lights are behind enough doors they don't show through a window, but what other things could I avoid to give off the impression to others I'm growing?

Sometimes you only see what you want to see.

You only noticed those things because you grow yourself. Most people have no idea, no idea at all. Were you fascinated by your neighbors window before you started growing? Didn't think so.

Seriously though its sick how many people live their lives hiding in their own little "normal" reality. They just pray all the bad stuff they see on the news never comes to their neighborhood, and they don't realize their next door neighbor is a freak sex offender growing poppies in his attic hahaha. This extremely common state of denial is enough in itself to keep you safe, no one wants to think that drugs are being grown in the house next door to where their raising their kids.

Not spying, just being observant. I think it's cool, actually. But like you said, yeah, I wouldn't have notice it if I didn't know pot rooms are hard to keep cool in the summer and have to be light-proofed. The average neighbor doesn't notice that or put two and two together. I desperately want to go over there and ask, so we can talk shop, but I know that's not a wise idea and never will. I just want to make sure I'm not giving off those same impressions to others.

If I can pick up on, just 'cause I'm in the know on growing, then perhaps others do, ie cops.

To avoid such observations, I make an effort to occasionally open the window and blinds in my magic room. My stuff's in closets and chests in said room so it can't be seen through the glass. I don't want people noticing a darkened window in my house.....again, ie cops.

Just a stoner thought.....don't hold it against me.

nope, I'm the chick that's always carrying bags of potting soil around back. Pay no mind to all the planters.



On the mode of misinforming the neighbors, I started tomatoes indoor today that will be put out on the back deck once we get the last frost.

I don't even like tomatoes.....but they're good camouflage.

I have ac in my bedroom and light dont shine through the window.I like my bedroom dark though.I dont grow in it either.

Sex offender? Definitely not hahaha. Love watching to catch a predator though, chris hanson has the most stylish haircut on tv.

No shit. That is VERY typical behavior for 20-30 somethings... I would hate you as a neighbor! How does 3-4 cars being parked at their place scream grow op? I would think that 1 single car being at that house for like an hour a day would be an indication...

any house can be a grow op. People don't need to give you shit for being observant, if your doing something illegal you should be a little paranoid and look out at all your options. they probally are not growing but just keep your eyes open and you might find out they are growing.

some are very hard to see one got busted near my house with over 2000 plants and i noticed but no one else except the cops but they just found it becuse the guy got caught with like a pound on him and it gave them the right to search the house and thats where they found the grow there are a lot more growers then you can imagine

Dude.... i live with 2 mates and they are the only 2 who know about my spare room... We have parties all the time and people are always at my house and no one ever suspects a thing!!! If you do it right... then no one will know!!! and lets be realistic... the biggest reason for grow ops being found out is by people opening their big mouths!

i got a grow tent with a bunch ov cloths hanging offa it and my girlfreinds mom still think it a wardrobe Lets me have my window open Proper looks like a wardrobe from outside lol
