from what i herd, food coloring doesint work. the roots dont soak it up. it just colores the soil. not really but you get the point. neither does spraying the leafs with it.

i saw a pic up top a while back that was pink as a pink bud could be. did anyone else see that one? it was really really pink. i thought they used food coloring with it, also i would think that you would have to harvest early with the pistols white to get the full effect of the food coloring. i figured they chopped the bud down then put it in a glass with food coloring so the stem could soak it up... just my thoughts.:peace:

I wouldnt do it no matter how well it worked,i like the way weed looks all on its own or i aint smokin it.

Every time i see one of these food coloring buds threads i get a mental picture of some kid trying to jazz up the look of buds he's selling in order to get top dollar for regular bud.

too bad blueberry isnt blue... most of the blueberry strains i have had has all been similar... very fruity, bright green, bright orange pistils( best point of harvest 4 blueberry), There was one time where a certain strain had a blue "tint" to it... however it wasnt near as potent as my other encounters... purple however.. i have seen some crazy purps and all with varying potency....

For food coloring i dont know too much about it.. but i would thinkg it would produce a harsher smoke. I know it is oderless and tastless but im not too sure how oderless and tastless the smoke will be. I mean food coloring isnt meant to be smoked. I dont even know what food coloring is made up of... is it some kind of HCL or salt???

As far as just physical changes i would think a strong color would have to be used.... i wonder what would happen if you used some green food coloring... i would hope for some type of neon kryptonite looking shit...

just my 2 cents...maybe a lil more

Well the roots will filter out mostly all of the color from food coloring. So your best bet is to chop it and then keep it in a glass with food coloring. I'd use colors like red pink or blue because purple is just gonna look black and Sh*t.
