50mg for my fucked up back. How well does it work? Should I expect the same results as Vicodin 7.5's?
Also, anyone know of a good strain for back pain? :peace:

Hahaha I drank a lot of that shit when I broke my back (read my thread in medical) I loved it... It's kinda cloudy.... You just put the drops in your juice... And my directions said take 10-20 drops.. if in 1/2 hr pain still there - repeat... I got it from my doctor in Venezuala who did my surgery.... basically u can't od..... (Ithink it might be addictive) I was bummed when it ran out... why where did you order from?!

Traction is the key for back pain bro,i broke my back over 20 years ago then have had massive problems with it since,3 herniated discs & so forth,i get what i want from my pain management doctor whenever i want it,i could get oxycontin by the buckets if i wanted it.

Nothing has helped me more than buying my own traction machine, you strap yourself in & it pulls your spine apart via hydrolic rams ,up to 200 psi, morphine is nothing compared to a traction machine.

Ask your doctor if he will send you to physical therapy & try it once, you'll be a new man, hopefully.

I bought one of those things that you strap your feet in and it holds you upside down. I think its basically the same thing. It didn't help at all

I believe its a pill not drops. I just did a search on google and there are lots of pharmacies that you can order it from.

tramadol will help combat some of the back pain but will not give you the good narcotic feelings that vicodin do. i mean it will fight the pain a bit but not fuck you up. i believe it is a non narcotic form of pain pills. tramadol is the same as ultram.

Wikipedia says Tramadol is approximately 10% as potent as Morphine

Oh yeah and I'm in Canada so I don't think I can just order that easy.. maybe I'm wrong.... Anyhow bottom line is you'll like it if you fine oxycodin too heavy... it's soothing...

I'm doing my best to stay away from the oxy's :peace:
Try it... I could still function that's why I got it... I didn't even like taking the morphine in the hospital.. the nurse used to run in, yell at me in spanish and hold my finger with her hand on the button while she kept re-setting the machine cause I wasn't taking enough.. But at that point in my life they were saying I was a paraplegic so the last thing I wanted was a dependency issue also when I got back to Canada... And I do have an addictive personality...\

Nope, those upside down feet hanging devices are not even close,a real traction machine you lay flat on your back, then strap your waist in with a rachet strap, after that the next strap goes just above the afected area & you rachet that strap.

Now on each side of you there is a hydrolic ram,you set the pressure & it pushes the hydrolic cylinders apart, until your spine reaches maximum extension, the device you are thinking about relys on body weight, divide that up by the lenght of your torso & you get about 15 pounds of pressure,a traction machine will deliever a full 200 pounds of pull all located between 2 discs, its awesome.

Dig this, when i 1st went in for pt i was eating oxy's & vic's like candy, they didnt help for shit,i was taking stadol ns on top of that & still no pain relief,i was high as hell but my back was still fuked,i had very low expectations of the traction treatment.

When the girl strapped me into the machine & put it on full pull i got instant & 100% relief,i could stand up straight & walk with no pain,it took 3 weeks of 5 times a week to fix my back to where i could walk, the drugs never did anything cept keep me fuked up.

that is a good outlook, i mean not wanting to be dependent. i went into the hospital for a week and ran my fentanyl drip out in 1 night. the nurse said people usually dont use that much so quick.:-? after 7 years of battling my own opiate demons, i would say that pain pills can be a vicious addiction. it takes a strong person to not want too much medication when they are in pain.

Honestly for me, I had done TONS of recreational drugs for a good ten year stretch... I treated my body like an amusment park.. When I wasn't out with strippers and partying getting high I was jumping outta planes and flying them.. (currently have my pilots liscence) Then I broke my back skydiving and it was a wakeup I had to get serious, I am lucky I can walk as I have a biomechanical spine and a piece of bone is still lodged in my nerve canal (I also had a lamenectomy and bone graft) So I cleaned up, got serious with my girl who was only going out with me for a month before the accident and went back to school.... It's hard when your 30....

man that is great that you battled through all that and can walk again. i partied hard for a long time too. never let the hard drugs get to be too much of a bad habit. the pain pills grabbed a hold of my ass and wouldnt let go. i struggled with some things and i am managing to get back on my feet again. man i cant imagine going through some of the things you said you went through. takes a strong person i guess.:peace:

Thanks man.... Honestly between me and you... and the rest of the readers:shock: The only way to quit is to go cold turkey, weaning and all that shit is BS... I have MAJOR pain all the time but as time goes by I can ignore it more and more (herb helps) But it's really a decision not a dependency... Like my friends have even changed... ALl the cokeheads don't call me anymore, nor the after hours crew (clubbers) they know I won't go.. so... it sucks but my life is healthier now.. and no more guilty mornings... hehehehe ANyhow I hope you get thru it I know it's not easy.. You just gotta want it maing!!! :peace:

I've had the Tramadol for a couple of days now. It seems to be helping my back pain. The best part is that I have no desire at all to take Vicodin. Its taken away all the craving. It does give you a high...but, its a different high and its kinda hard to explain. I took two back to back and it got me all loopy and kinda made me do dumb shit (like I wasn't all there). I wound up sitting on our new kitten even after I had just looked at her 2 mins ago and knew that she was in the chair :-? Not to mention that it hurt my back even more when I freaked out trying to get off her. I felt like some fat fuck that couldn't get out of my chair cause it tilted back and I was kicking my legs trying to get the chair back in the upright position so I could get off our kitty. Well, the kitty is fine. But, I don't think she will be sitting in my chair anymore
Now I have to deal with the affects of coming off the Vicodins
