I obviously am new to growing

I guess the first issue is I'm not sure what strain I am growing. I believe it's an hybrid prodominately indica.
The plant has been in flower for 7weeks. My question is this : it had white pixels growing from every side of the bud. Which is new growth. Does that mean I have another 3-4 weeks to go before harvest?

That's why you need a small scope to check trichomes..that way you harvest at right time. Soon as I start to see some amber trichomes I know they are ready. If they are clear...need more time to ripen, if they are milky they are just about ripe.

Nice frosty plant there> I would say another few weeks at least

probably 2 weeks left on that, a lot of the pistols are still white

Thanks for the replies. I really appreciate them being a first time grower and having to learn on the fly.
I do have a jewelers loop. 40x 25 I think. And I did see the trichomes go milky but no amber trichomes as of yet. Feeding it a bloom helper and floranova part 2. Should I start flushing now so that it's ready for harvest in 2weeks?

Thank you boatguy. Lol. I laugh cause I to am a boat man. A fisherman to be exact. In fact leaving this weekend to go to the Atlantic ocean for awhile. Picked this growing up as a hobby now I'm hooked. Got to clones in a homemade hydro setup, and a Krypto Blueberry strand and another one of the clones from this plant I. Coco (70%) and soil (30%) with added bone meal and used coffee grounds. I'll show picks when I get home. Plants look solid! Should get a better yeild with the next batch. Also got an affgan kush, and a blue berry kush ( seeds from Netherland) I'm the works. Thinking about growing autos. Got a few O.G. auto seeds from the same place. What is your take on autos?
