Thought we were talking about the color spectrum being 3000k.

The price as stated is to drop the price of production. It's a point I'm aiming for, I can miss the target but if I hit it that let's me drop the price more then pass the savings to everyone that buys.

There is an option for the panel my itself (LightWave 1)but it doesn't make sense to buy one when you can buy the 2, 4, or 6 unit lights for cheaper.

@TEKNIK If you know soooo much more then others please show us some results. You do a lot of shit talking about other people lights, but I've never seen you post a light for sale, or an idea for one. I've never seen you post pictures of your amazing test equipment or all the hundreds of lights you test with it. You have never posted a picture of the plants you grow with your awesome lights, because you've told us you don't grow. So in the end its all just talking which does not make you any farther ahead of anyone. Making claims on the internet with nothing to back them is exactly what you bitch about these companies doing, yet it is precisely the same thing you do.

Now I'm not trying to be a dick here, but you've shit on so many threads with your "advanced knowledge" that has never been more then talk. You've been banned from other threads and yet you continue doing the same. There are a few sayings for times like this:

Top Flux bins for 3000K CRI80 LM301B are advertised as SL - can you only get SK, or is there little to no yield of SL?

Also, which voltage bins are you getting?

What are the dimensions of the board?

Are these 16S x 40P (640 diodes)? That would make them roughly 45.6V/8A, correct? So at 100W, each LED will be drawing about 60mA?

I'm guessing the connectors are 9A and so the boards can't be daisy chained in parallel but could be wired in series.

Near field testing is not as accurate as far field testing, near field testing needs to extrapolate the data and gives a false reading. If Stephen bothered to discuss it with me I would have explained it.
I have discussed it with those that are writing the new horticulture testing standard. I was invited to be on the board itself. I don't have time nor am I interested in it. Accuracy depends on how many points of data collected. Thousands of points over an 8x8 area have been discussed. I don't care to send you fixtures to test. We give fixtures away all the dang time lol. We sponsor the party cup grow here. Give lights away on the GML show, the Heavy Ts grow show and have contests constantly.

TBH you come off a little arrogant . That turns me off more than anything. Kinda like a soap opera around here sometimes lol.

That's correct it can only be wired in series. The 100W boards will run at 44V (the HLG-600H-42). Again the SL can not be bought for the 3000k anywhere. Samsung's spec sheet says they are there.. but their representative said they are not. Making SK the only viable option. Dimensions per board are 425x280mm (16.7x11in) depending on the thermals that may be shrunk for the production run. Connectors are rated for 24A per connector, but I might pick higher ones depending on pricing.

Have you made any of these boards yet for yourself? I applaud your ambition, but $300K buys a lot of boards!

Thanks! The way I see it that's less than 500 600W lights with some donations to win one. The boards are waiting on parts that are on backorder. I'll be posting more once I have the boards running.

No I didn't consider using a bus but I may experiment with it. The 600W driver has two sets of wires for power so that might be what you're looking for.

I must be honest, I already have a vested interest as we've just produced a run of new LED boards here in Australia with the first ones off the line today. We've taken a slightly different path and focussed on light spectrum, high CRI and modularity. I won't spam your thread with the details, as I'll be starting another thread myself. TEKNIK has kindly offered to test the boards, but we have no affiliation with him other than that. We won't know how efficient they are until they are tested, but the plants seem to like the prototypes. I understand what you are trying to achieve - it's not easy and there is no certainty in this business. We're just a group of growers who wanted a better flowering board. At least we have enough for ourselves now.

Perfectly dark green a week ago. Now its spreading throughout the plant like cancer.
Make a anti-Defficiency board & ill be the first to buy it.
