I need to do 12 plants in as small a space as possible. Just for veg.

I'm continuing to build out my grow space. I use the "SUN HUT" growing tents. I have one of the XXL 4 x 8's which will be used for flowering. My veg tent is the 6 x 4.

What I would like to do is use the 6 x 4 for 3 - 4 weeks veg growth for no less then 12 plants.

The problem is, I have a portable AC and two mother plants already in the grow tent. I was hoping to get away with a small ebb and flow system to do veg, something like maybe the Microgarden from Botanicare would probably fit nicely...but the hydro shop told me this would never be enough space to do 12 plants full veg.

Any space saving but effective tips? Is the hydro guy right?

I will then transfer these plants into the large tent that has a 12 pot multiflow system.

Thanks

If height isn't an issue, you could veg 24 plants for 3-4 weeks in a 6' x 4' space. I used to grow in Wilma pots for years with no problems (Veg + Flowering).

The microgarden is quite a bit smaller. 6'x4' is too big to fit into the room, with AC and mother plants. Here's the microgarden:

I would veg for 3 - 4 weeks in rockwool and then transfer to the multiflow system for flowering.

Basically if you think the microgarden simply isn't big enough to properly grow 12 plants for veg, then I'll have to look for alternatives.

Thanks

If you are going to veg for 3-4 weeks, 12" square should be enough room for each plant. Build yourself an Ebb and Flow 2' X 6' or 3' X 4', to suit your tent. Dont forget you need to be able to easily reach the plants at the back of you tent.
