where the hell did you read this? Pistils turning orange is a natural process of the flower cycle..

Pistils turning brown is a good thing and means it's nearing time to harvest, read around some more. At least I haven't heard anything about "new" pistils turning brown indicating hermies - hard to tell which are new and which have been around anyway ;) Looks good though man, check out the bagseed grow I just pulled - plant was amber as fuck.

The buds look a little different but I see nothing to suggest male flowers.

Under some conditions pistils will brown early and new flower growth will stop.

In these situations, I'm convinced something has flipped the "ripen seeds" switch. A number of my plants did this at various stages this year.

The calyxes swell at an amazing rate, and they are where trichomes are densest.

I'll be interested in seeing a smoke report.

Yours could be killer.

make sure those browning hairs are not mold/rot.
how can i make sure of that...the buds are still soft and green...and another thing some of my leaves that are on the main cola just recently have been turnin like a dark purplish color...I dont know if i should be happy or be worried with this! any feedback would be great!

only thing i noticed personally is if the pistils initally come out brown in a calyx... its making a seed... (assuming early on, not when its ripening) they will all turn brown eventually. and yes its because a hermie pollianted... (bleev me its happened to me 4 times)

Plants look good, nothing to worry about. From a quick look at your pics i say they need more time. You will know mold/rot as the bud will be brown and not green. Good luck!
