I need radar

I'm thinkin of doing my first geurilla grow, and since I'm no indian man I wanted to get a GPS radar thing so that I could relocate my plants. Ideally what I'm looking for is a tracking device, where I can leave the signal transmitter with the plants, and I can use a reciver to locate that plants in the wilderness on a radar screen with a blip being my plants. Hopefully there is one where only my receiver can pick up my transmitter, so they don't get stolen. Anyone know what I'm talkin about?

most of the new handheld GPS units have memory built in. when your at your site you just hit memory and those coordinates are stored in the memory. only one handheld unit, no transmitters and recievers to get confused with.

lmao!!! i read his post and i imagined him being in a submarine with a radar and then out in the woods with one of those handheld antenna like he is looking for the tagged tiger in the woods...

Be careful. If leo finds your gps they can use it as evidence. All they have to do is follow your waypoints right to your grow. I would write down the coordinates keep them in a safe place and erase them from the gps. Punch them in when you need to locate them.

I was thinking like radar to pre warn for helicopters. lol

But I would go with what Smoking chef suggests, and just go with a hand held GPS. I was going to get one but didn't have enough money this year. All memory here!

I prefer a compass anyway. Old fashioned I guess.
