My plant won't flower!!! She should have started to bloom over 6 weeks ago....

I've been told to change her light from 18/6 to 12/12 & to stop feeding her nutes for her next 3 feedings & then feed her 1/2 strength bloom. Does anyone have any additional advice for me to consider??
I posted pics of her below. I posted a pic of another plant that I raised at the same time as her, and it's about ready to harvest....

she was supposed to be a feminized seed from Nirvana, but there is a small chance that she cld be a mystery seed...

Stupid question but did you sex it?
I planted 2 of my 4 seeds & someone else planted 2 & this is one of the seeds that the other person planted so I can not be 100% sure that she is the same because one of my mystery seeds that came with my order is missing also.
The individual that was helping me may have deliberately taken my feminized seed & planted a mystery seed instead.
I hope not, but it is a small possibility...

She also looks healthy and happy
I have her under a spydr600 LED with 3 flowering plants right now, but As soon as I harvest the other plant that you see in the pic (about 2 more weeks) I am going to put her under 12/12 with either a CMHD light or a HPS. Which light will be better?? The HPS???

i'm confused. is under 12/12 and not flowering?

you say you are going to put it under 12/12 in 2 weeks when the other is done. if it's not under 12/12, it wont' flower.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it's an autoflower and he didn't mention that. Sometimes they don't flower and have to be put under 12/12 (and left there. I learned that the hard way. I thought I could initiate flower then go back to 16/8. I got a lot of seeds from that girl.).

I wld say that there is an 80% chance that she is a feminized Autoflower & a 20% chance that she is a complete mystery... So what wld you do if you were me??

See post #11 in this thread, I think he nailed it. You should keep it at 12/12 now unless you want beans.

I'm sorry, I thought I said it was supposed to be a feminized "autoflower", but I'm not 100% sure
Either your friend palmed it, like you suggested(?), or it's just a genetic problem (or mix up at the seedbank). Put it under 12/12 and you should be fine.

HPS is better for flower, but if i understood correctly, if you have CMH that's a decent flowering light too (depending on the spectrum of your bulb). I'd like to have CMH. Either way it doesn't matter much until it starts flowering.

Regarding your apparently sketchy(?) friend's suggestion to increase bloom nutes. I would be careful with that. I would enter the information from your nutrients into this spreadsheet and understand the NPK ratios you're actually feeding. It's too easy for people to create bad ratios by "switching to bloom nutrients." You're liable to get N def due to an increase in PK.

Some say there's no reason to increase PK. I like to increase, but not a lot. I do about 1-1.2-1.7 in transition, 1-1.5-1.7 in mid flower and finish at 1-2-1.7). These numbers aren't critical. But, you want to be sure you're not jumping to 1-2-2 in transition. New growers have a tendency to do things like that by "doing what my friend said" and they have problems. Knowing what you're feeding is the first step.
