I need my card, but have no history on paper to take in? How can I go about this, and how much is the average cost when things are said and done?

Go to the doctor and tell him that you have nausea. Go back in 91 days and tell him the same thing.

Here in Michigan, some MM clinics have doctors that will see you with no prior history....I'm not sure about your state, but try calling a bunch of places, you may get it, if you have a true condition.

OK i just remembered something, my moms in medical school and this is the one thing a doctor can not refuse, or else it becomes a lawsuit.

All you need to tell the doctor is; ""whatever" is affecting the quality of your life."
tell the doctor, you have been having sleep problems. tell him your appetite hasnt been the same and you have lost weight in the past few months. tell him that when you smoked you killed two birds with one stone, it gave you your appetite back and you can fall asleep at 9 oclock like normal now.

there are many doctors in the az area that will consult with you and see if you have a qualifying condition. most of them will only charge you if you qualify. most doctors will not write you a recomendation if you do not have 1 year of medical records showing your chronic condition. the best thing for you to do right now is go see a doctor and tell him about your condition. you can try and just go to one of the mmj doctors in the valley but the state has been cracking down and most of them are not willing to risk their license so you can smoke weed. good luck. if you need a rec for a specific doctor you can pm me.

Ok nausea isn't gonna get you a card unless its from cancer or something if you have no real medical conditions then chronic pain is your only ticket and records from a chiropractor are acceptable forms of proof so you can always go that route.

The cheapest mmj doctor I'm aware of is at the 2811 club in north phoenix. My wife paid $65 for her certification. I got mine from Dr suttor in scottsdale, I got mine back in April and paid $150 but I think he has lowered his prices. Either route you will need some medical records to prove your condition. I know patients that have gone to the 2811 club with one office visits worth of records and received their certification. You just need to make sure your doctor writes down exactly what you need them to; chronic condition that effects quality of life and is on the current azdhs list of approved conditions. I deal with doctors on a daily basis being a nurse and some times you just need to tell them exactly what they need to do. If insurance is an issue I would try to go to a sliding scale clinic, it does not really need to be a PCP order for your records to be valid.

hi! thanks for the information! :)

i just started getting gabapentin for nerve pain. i told the dr that i had a bunch of aches and pains; knees, hip, legs (i'm in my 50s) and i was going to put off trying for a card for a few months but i think i'll see if having this script will be enough. i didn't mind the aches and pains when i was working but now that i'm retired, they are more noticeable and annoying.

I been taking anti depressants for about 6 years and I just showed the Dr. The pill bottle with my name and everything on it. I take Effexor XR and one of the side effects is nausea. That was enough for him.

As of now you can grow your own or be a caregiver for someone. No dispensaries which isnt so bad.

the problem is, i'm not going to officially grow my own until some things are straightened out. nothing like the state having a list of a few thousand grow rooms. i don't want the state to know where i live let alone what i do in the privacy of my cave. i've been hiding for decades. i can wait! :)
