I need help with my plants!

Well yes, I'm going to transplant that one ASAP and as for the medium, you are probably right..But seeing as I'm on a tight budget is there any way I could just switch them to smaller pots with the soil they currently have?
As for burning, I was told that the bulb should be 2 inches from the leaves. They didn't go closer than that, this I can guarantee.

As for completely starting over I'd rather not, although what you said is a very good idea and I will utilize a seed starter next grow.

So I'm seeing a general consensus that it's the lights. I'm going to move them away a bit and see how they react.

Do they need nutrients yet though? Like is it possible that this is them telling me that?

2in!? Either I've been fucking up for the last few months or ur doing wrong.. The room temp can be 70 but the temp from that bulb to that leaf is different. I I've been going 6/10in with 9 bulbs.. And this is with full blown exuast in a cool room. Check ur lowes for a infrared thermometer while ur there lol. Yu can't mess it up them.

happy frog should be fine for seedlings as well...When I use to use FFOC long ago it never burned seedlings either...but always ended up with lockouts...especially cal and mag so dumped it...now use promix/suhnshine mix for years and love the results

2 inches is way too close...4 for larger plants is fine...try 6-8 inches for your seedlings and once they get a foothold move to around 4

and yes in the future 1 plant per pot

Well wait a second here, are we talking about the same type of light? I'm using Cfls and they are 2 inches away from the plant. Besides obviously the ones that aren't hung up.

Well, I'm seeing mixed opinions, I see people having large success with FF, and people who are smiting FF. I mean it's not Ocean Forest with all those fish guts and micronutrients in it, so is it still bad? I mean I've never used it before, but I've heard good things for the most part.
FF makes great products. I use the frog soil cut 50/50 with B-Cuz to transplant two week old seedlings into a 1 gal bag. Then I use full strength ocean forest when I transplant to the 3 gal bag after plants are sexed. Here are plants at 22 days from seed.

That's a mouth-watering setup you have there, Blueberry. But, as for my question, do you think it would be ok to just switch the pot size and use the same soil? Becuase I CAN do that, but I CAN'T get new soil unfortunatly.

Yes... We see the cfls,I had a hps and it burnt mine. Few feet away. 2 inch on a cfl is way to close for a baby. I was right from the beginning.thats what's the forums are for tho :)

yes add MORE ferts. (sarc.)

but seriously.....if ur lights were 2 inches away from ur plants that pretty much explains ur problem.

Thanks, I've been playing around with this strain since 1978, so I think I'm getting it dialed in....

Any plant that is in it's own container, I would leave as is. If you have them in straight frog soil you will be good to go for a while on nutrients. Wait for the plant to show a slight nitrogen deficiency and then feed with a well balanced grow fertilizer. Trying to chase a certain nutrient deficiency 9 times out of ten will result in lockup. Try not to get there. Good luck!

Yes it is a really handy tool that allows you to know the temp at the plant and the container...no guesswork

this is the one I use and I love it

Available here and the company is top notch with real customer appreciation

Thank you very much guys, I moved the lights further away.

This is my first grow so I know there's going to be alot of problems, but I have the FF nutrients ready to go whenever they ask for it.

Also that thermometer looks pretty nice, I'm gonna have to look into getting one.

There was about 3 or 4 threads in one week, about a month ago, people with burning problems using FF.
IDK if it may have been a bad batch from the MFG or what.

I don't remember what you are using, but anything more than a CFL should not be 2" from leaf.
I am using CFL's, and try and keep them less than that, without letting the plant grow into the bulb.

soil shouldnt be an issue. used ffof from seed with no issues but my mix is to add 25% per gal. perlight and a oz. of domolite lime per gal. soil. never lost a seedling ever. ph water as well as water/w nuts. to 6.2-6.5 to dial in. does look like some over nuting but could be from ph. lockout.
