Hmmm.. I am just throwing something out there. But if it smells like hay, but is good bud, and has the good skunky smell inside. I might think about water curing it. This might LEACh out that smell. I think it should.

bruise some herbs...like bay leaf and put in jars to cure a few days....might help but you need a lot of bay to get rid of the greenish...alfalfa smell...Use mint leaves if you have them..preferably himalayan mint..If you do not have the time...it won't take to the scent.

I am not up on the ins and outs of water curing. Do a search in here for it. There are threads that talk about it.

Basically, it is where you submerge your buds in distilled water for so long. This gets rid of all the Chloryphil and other stuff that makes the bud HARSH. It is supposed to make your bud very, very smooth. But it also gets rid of most of the smell of the bud.

put your fully dried bud in jars that will seal, in a dark area...(warm light will produce moisture and mold), for a few days or longer. If you use herbs, make a cheesecloth or muslin sack and put the non cannabis herbs in the sack. If you use whole leaves like bay, you do not need to contain them in anything..just remove and do not smoke..ugh..Since you already bought it...it probably or should be fully cured, so you will just be making an attempt to add to that skunky, green smell. It will not always work and works best when you first begin curing....but anything is better than green smell..or hay....Avoid handling the buds cause you will knock off the trichomes....etc...
