Volcano all the way. I've used a few different whip type vaporizers, a friend of mine has a whip vape and the portable iOlite. The portable vape is cool but if I had my way, the volcano would be portable because I've never smoked anything I enjoy more than my volcano.

Thanks for the reviews NL and DMan. Whats with the plastic looking bladder though? (I assume it's plastic... right?) I'm extremely senstive to the taste and smell of things... plastics, metals, oils. Even if they use a good enough material that somehow I can't taste, I still don't see how it can't be bad for you. I'm not unwilling to try though.

It's the bag that get's filled with vapor. Seriously do yourself a favor and try a volcano. So matter what vape you use, technically your dealing with some form of plastic somewhere. None compare with the volcano though. At least any that I've ever tried.

Thats what I meant... the bag/bladder. I just hate plastics ya know? I look forward to trying one, I browsed a website for a few hours last week. :) I won't commit though until I see what's up with that aspect of it.

the bag that the volcano uses is made from the exact same material that you use when you bake a turkey (you know what i mean: in my house we called them "turkey bags"?)... it is specially manufactured to be stable at high temp... like you buddy, i am very sensitive to flavors and smells and tastes, and i've never gotten a bad flavor from my vaporizer (with the notable exception of one time some jackal gave me some meds which were clearly grown in fish emulsion and not properly flushed... that sour flavor lasted for days it seemed like, but that was the meds, not the delivery system)... google the stats on turkey bags, and you'll see that they are rated to withstand much higher heat than most vaporizers are capable of generating... on the real? give me a pm, and we'll get together, you can try mine; as long as you don't mind a little reggae music...

Thank you for the explination NL, I really appreciate it! That makes a lot of sense and you've single handedly swayed my opinion with that single post. Perhaps because I was looking on retail websites that information passed me by? I will admit that I use those plastic steamer bags for the microwave, plus who hasn't one of those turkey bag type deal as you mentioned. I am still a little sketched about those, however I use them for sure.

I'd love to take you up on your offer some time. I've never tried a vape before... my friend Tamorin has an iolite (I think thats what it is) but I haven't seen it being used. Any type of music is fine with me, I'm the most non-chalant, easy going person when it comes to hanging out. I enjoy everything... perhaps too much - I think I've taken up every hobby there is at one time or another. :)

well i am happy to help! those iolites are legit (not as good as a full size, bells and whistles model, but for portable there are not many that beat it)... tamo is a good dude, both on and off the screen... that is one of the great things about the 'lil rhodie community: we give a crap about each other and are willing to share, and help... that is what is so unique, and why i try to help when and how i can, because so many people have helped me in the past as well...
