I have been looking in the forums for a solution to this issue and have not found a problem yet. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my plants? I have 3 plants in total. the two largest ones have a condition in the lowest leaves where they are dying and curling down by the margins. Here is the picsIMG_5193[1].jpgIMG_5194[1].jpgthis is the 2nd set that has suffered from this issue. the older sets have been removed. The edges that curled down and paled will soon turn brown and die.

keep it real.

It was probably on the soil when you watered it not a problem, if the rest of the plant looks healthy keep on growing.

it`s either nitrogen burn or a nitrogen deff it`s normal for plants to eat up the very oldest leaf`s 1st even more so if they don`t have a large enough root system to get nutes and water for all the new growth

You have a choice if it`s too much feeding reduce feeding or flush and if it`s a shortage then feed a stronger feed or you can trim the plant down a bit when vegging plants respond well to being pruned every 2 to 4 weeks but don`t over do it.

I have the same issue but for me it stared before I started feeding them nutes, could be PH levels causing a Nute lockout

Do you have a ppm and or ph meter ?

You could check your RO water

I`d flush and then add nutes at 1/4 strength after about 2 to 3 days if I suspected I`d over fed

Check the NPK on your feed if your feed is a grow feed it can have a lot of nitrogen making it very easy to over feed and burn I like something around 4-3-6 for veg as once you start getting much over that ratio it`s pretty easy to burn young plants

Feeding a root booster when younger will help keep your plants much healthier as they get older it`s all in the roots man

Another good trick is to slightly under feed but spray feed the plant that way you have day to day control over the extra nutes

I'm in the same boat. I went from 2 100 watt cfl to 600 watt air cooled set up. I think I made a drunk rookie move and added to much heavy 16. 2013-01-21_20-45-09_249.jpg2013-01-21_20-45-32_843.jpg2013-01-21_20-45-39_348.jpg2013-01-21_20-45-46_760.jpg

Please help, these ladies were super happy 4 days ago under cfl. What can I do to save them? Is flushing just watering them til the water comes out the bottom?

Yours have an entirely different problem from the looks of it.
Take better pics with normal light, and start a thread.
Don't try to jack somebody else's thread.

Watch out for hot soils!! Once u start adding nutes it is VERY easy to burn plants. Try half ff and half promix with a tad more perlite. And test your water on the way out as well.

evryone here is most likely wrong on this issue. Ur problem is u like many beginner r giving ur plant to much love. Give it no nutrient if ur usung fox farm for atleast a cpl weeks then start with very light nutes evry other water and the real rot of this proble, is ur soil is way way WAY to wet!!! Stop Stop watering ur girls. Only water them when the soild dries way out. like to the point where u can dig into the soil an inch and its stil bone dry, right before the leaves start drooping from lack of water is when u water and u will b amazed that this WILL fix ur problem....Trust me

Agreed, with that kind of grammar, and spelling I don't know if I'd trust much, but being member almost a year and 3 posts, IDK.........:confused::confused:
but I'm not real concerned with it since he hasn't come back, maybe he followed my suggestion and started his own thread.......
Problem is a month old anyway, so either he got it figured out, or plants are dead.
