So I started adding molasses to my water and feeding it to my plant. I started it about 2 days ago, so I come home to check on my plant and low and behold the whole top of my soil is covered in a white "fuzz" which I believe to be mold or fungus. Is this damaging to my plant? What harm will it cause if any? What can I do about it?

It only started after I aded the molasses to my water. HELP!

Ya, molasses adds food for micro organisms. Brush it off and use straight water for a week.

Where are your temps? How's your humidity? What kind of light? All things that are helpful.

Pics?

And it's prolly mold.

Temp: 75 F
Humidity: 71%
Lighting: 3 125W CFL (2700k) - It's only for my one plant

Pics aren't necessary, and I don't feel like uploading them to my comp because honestly...im high lol.

Hope this helps. I really don't wanna go back to straight water because they will be ready to go in about 3 weeks. So i wanted to keep using the molasses for one - two more weeks before final flush.

+rep for you mite. Thx.

EDIT: mite you're the one that told me to start using the molasses lol. So I can't rep you again right now. =(
