The clearest case of nutrient burn(overfeeding) in the history of growing.
the clearest case of bad advice posted here lately. that is not over feeding. if it was the tips would start to burn and the leaves would curl down(clawing) and it would be most leaves. i say it is a ph issue or look out from salt build up. flush it.

  • Thank you, but I did find some photos of severe overfeeding and they look just like this plus I fed two watering's in a row on accident "had a mix up". The leaves did all of what you said, but had moved beyond that stage before I could get pictures. I did flush her and she looks better already

those discolored leaves are not from over feeding. you can listen to whomever you please, but i just harvsted my 1000th plant last week and i can only give you that amount of knowledge.

I appreciated the advice I really do, but I could do without the condescending attitude. Do me a favor and don't reply to my post if your gonna be an ass. I let the first one slide thinking you might be joking, but now you call me a Poster child:"A child afflicted by some disease or deformity" I did not come here to have some cock sucker bash me for asking for help. Now here's one for you mother fucker. Fuck you and keep your advice where it belongs, in that cum catcher you call a mouth. Now go make the world a better place. ESAD BITCH!. Peace.

Ending it with peace didn't help at all did it?
Well, generally I'd fire back but I wasn't trying to be condescending. It was an attempt at being funny. I'd already given you my best advice I could think of. If you'd like that I take all personality out of my posts that's fine, but doesn't do much in the way of establishing a repore between us if you are asking for help. I was talking about the plant, no need to take it personally. If the problem is lockout (could be) I would bet it was still caused by overfeeding rather than PH by the extent of the damage.

Just wondering, don't you think that was a pretty harsh response to the first person to even offer an opinion or take a second out of his day to try and help you? Advice you "Really Appreciated". Not sure if you check out the "Help Me" posts here, but they generally go unanswered. Many people don't give a shit to take the 2 seconds out of their unbusy day to help someone in need. Just putting that out there. This is the internet. Shit gets taken the wrong way. Try giving people the benefit of the doubt... Just saying.

Wasn't trying to be a dick, but take it however you want to at this point.

Just like I signed off on my last post that I was suposedly such a dick in.
Glad you got it sorted. <-(Not- Fuck off you idiot, do some reading on the basics)
Peace. <-(Kinda speaks for itself)

Yeah, I respectfully disagree. Those leaves are burnt to shit. I can see there is definitely some lockout issues there due to the discoloration. Overfed plants will claw, you're right there, but plants that are totally burnt to fuck will curl all which ways and be crispy with the damage generally starting at the tips. It's definitely a combination, but which came first the chicken or the egg. My bet is that the lockout was still caused by over fertilization. Either way, you say lockout because of salt buildup and tell him to flush. That does nothing for the cause of the problem which was over fertilization in the first place leading to a massive buildup of salts. You can run a plant from seed to harvest without flushing without massive salt buildup causing that magnitude of damage to a plant. I simply called it overfert which would have him flush, and back off on nutrients which caused the problem in the first place. I could have explained all this, but the solution to the problem is the same- Flush, and lower nutrient concentration.
This is all just a guess on both of our part, but if you would have him follow your advice wouldn't it be prudent to have advised him to lower his nutrient concentration to avoid running into the same problem again or wasting nutrients needlessly flushing constantly due to using to high a nutrient concentration?

Peace.

Sorry man. I was in a shit mood and took your comment the wrong way. You are definitely right. It is overfeeding. I got mixed up on my feeding and gave her double all nutes . I have read my balls off but this is just my 3rd grow and nothing teach's like hands on experience. Again sorry I said all that shit and TY again. Burn has stopped.

Wow.. I don't think in all my years of reading threads about this or that have I come across an apology like this. You my friend are a true person of character.. Way to step up and take the initiative to turn things around.. There are so many people that use the anonymity of the net to act all 'balls to the wall' because they don't have them IRL. Scrolling through I thought to myself, "Oh great, another mindless squabble is about to ensue and I've wasted my time reading this shit".

The way you handled yourself is outstanding, hats off to you sir. Cheers to you and yours!
+rep for you,

Puff.

So I'm going to tell you like everyone else with this problem,This is a ph issue and a lockout, when this problem started you either had twisted leaves or a few small dots when it started right?
Do not add anything to your medium but water, your ph should be 5.8 in soiless mediums and 6.5 in soil. The best solution would be to adjust your ph and create a foliage spray @1/4-1/2 strength.
Mist your plants until it starts to drip and let sit for about 30 minutes then spray with plain water and shake off all the water a fan helps the drying process. This should be done before lights on but can be done at anytime and should never happen near bulbs,Although you can put your plants back under lights just not a close.

I have to tell you that Tavi impressed me. He stayed cool when he had every right to "fire back" as he put it. His reaction was defiantly one of character. Throw him some rep he deserves it more then me. TY for the comment and rep.

She went from looking great to looking like that in less than 48 hrs. It looked like nute burn at first, but changed really quick. It was a fast reaction to a double feeding. What I mean by that is I had twice the nuts in her water. I didn't remember putting the nuts in the water the night before so I did it again. I'm sure that fucks up PH lvls. When Tavi said it was massive overfeeding I remembered and was like "shit I fed her twice the nutes!". I flushed with plain ph'd water before bed and she was standing tall and looking happy when I got up. I removed the most damaged leaves and only have a little new damage. I will definitely do the spray if the dmg spreads any more at all. This is her in recovery now.

I took her from this plant about six weeks ago.fghfgh.jpgfghfghfgh.jpg and placed this one into flower a week later. I'm showing mom here just to prove I did research before I started growing and I'm not a complete idiot just a pot head and a noob. TY all for your input, I have learned much grandfathers/mothers And again hats off to Tavi. Great self control dude.
