Where in Florida do you live?

We have a condo in Melbourne, and I Know that there is no way I would even consider try to grow outdoors now. It gets as high as in the 80s- and as low as 40'o out this time of year there.
Thats too much fluctuation for me to have to try and deal with.
Although I am no Green -thumbs to begin with.

I'm gonna try and tackle my first outdoor grow this year in FL and I'm told between March and 420 are the best times to plant here.

I know where I'm at it's way to cold to plant yet.

Best bet is grab some T5s or T12s, keep it indoors & shoot for April outdoors for a May/Jun Harvest. The temps are hella low this year, I have a couple GHS AMS out right now that seem to be holding up well. if you have extra rooted clones and want to give it a try go for it.

can i start growing out side now or when can i?

I think you can do it if you put out before end of Feb should work. I'm trying same thing here in Cali with a few clones. As long as you get proper sun you should be fine to flower them.

Here is a quote I read so again depends on where you live in Florida.

Where there is no threat of frost (in Hawaii, southern Florida, and parts of Texas, Louisiana, and California), growers can raise a winter crop. Grow the plants for two or three months under artificial light. Plant get off to a faster start under artificial lights than natural light during the winter months. Move or transplant them before the beginning of March. Most strains will flower because of the short days (less than 12 hours of light) and fill out to well formed plants by the end of May when they are ripe.

Im from jax and I grow outdoor once a year. Its not the cold you have to worry about, Its the photo period. Unless you have already indoor veged plants your plants will go strait into flowering. Its like end of march and beginning of april when the sun is out for over 12. Go to the farmers almanac website and type in your city and it will tell you to the second how many hours of light are in each day. Hope this helps and good luck! P.S I was in prison in brevard at B.C.I on camp road in sharps FL. I worked on the D.O.T. road crew in palm bay, melbourn, coco beach and titusville. That shit sucked for 3 years.
