well i got a couple clones about 2 weeks ago and yesterday i transfered them into my 5 gallon buckets.

i have a couple concerns though if you guys could help me out with. my plants look a little weak, and the main stem is very thin.. it could be nothing and maybe some plants are like this in the beginning, this is my 1st time growing.

other concerns are when i transfered 1 of my clones into the bucket i didn't realize how crazy roots can get haha, while i had cut down the plastic cup to remove all of it, i accidentally cut part of a root off. I'm praying this wont have a big affect on the plant.

i started using nutrient finally yesterday for the 1st time, a grow and a base of triflex, a half gallon each not mixed together of course. tomorrow I'm gonna use liquid fish and diamond nectar cause i don't wanna over water it, i pretty sure since now its in a 5 gallon bucket it holds the water more now so its easier to drown the plants. please any input or concerns u may have with anything pls let me know.. heres some pics

p.s. I'm using a 400w cfl, I'm phing, in a grow tent, a fan pulling air in and out to a filter.

What kind of soil are you using? Seems like they might just need a little fertilizer. Use a bloom fertilizer for the first 1-2 feedings to help stimulate root development. I know it sounds strange, but the high P, will help grow the root system.

That's an awfully large container for such a small plant. Be careful not to over water.

Are those Blue Dream clones?

i wouldnt use fertilizer just yet its still pretty small , although u do seem to have a little problem.. i would just go buy some trace elements and water with them until the plants has nice leafs and is bigger.

you've just transplanted. don't fertilize for at least a week.
you can use seaweed extract for this stage - it helps the plants vigor.

Then start with 1\5 strength nutes and build it up to whatever the plant needs.
fertilize every second watering.

to make your stems thicker add more ventilation. when plants have costant movement (by the wind) they thicken their stems.
