How st-st-st-stupid do these ingrates feel now?

Employers should be able to instantly fire ANY employee who publicly criticizes the company. Why would you keep a disgruntled employee on the payroll? You can protest and we can invite you to seek employment elsewhere. It's mushy-brained libs having their heads filled with pie in the sky delusions of grandeur by other clueless libs.

I buy 90% of shit I need on amazon. I hate going into public if I can spare it, this country is full of weirdos and psychos.

I do feel bad shopping at Kroger (regional grocery chain), I know they pay bare minimum wages and everyone is part time so they receive less benefits. But there aren't many groceries that have quality meat and produce.

you can instantly fire anyone if you're in the right state..that however, does not absolve you from paying their UE.

i dunno why the right thinks they can fire employees (for any reason) and not have responsibility towards continuity of wage.

FTW: if this is truly a 'punishment' they will bring suit. that's every employees right.

that's why we have labor law.

the walmart employees are the 'real patriots'.

I don't know why the left thinks they're entitled to shit from anyone. Why should an employer be forced to keep a disgruntled employee on the payroll when they agreed to the wages when they accepted the job offer? The fact they are publicly denouncing the company SHOULD be grounds for immediate dismissal.

And I've fired dozens of employees with cause in Virginia and corporate didn't have to pay a dime in UE. If they want to take the financial hit and close a store FOR ANY REASON, I'm of the opinion they should be able to without ANY reprisal. It's THEIR store.

Duh. And my point was publicly criticizing your employer should be "cause."

I retired at 37 and started a small business out of boredom a year later, how you doing?

Much like the Clinton foundation's top contributor, Walmart should be allowed to operate "outside the law." Judging by the level of competence and interest in customer service I've observed in the few times I've entered the store, Walmart employees should get $5/hr and that's probably twice what they deserve.

All these protesting/unemployed people have Special Snowflake Syndrome.

If a person has the ability to quit a job on a moments notice, it would seem reasonable that the other party (employer) would have the same ability to terminate the relationship, unless other terms were agreed to at the beginning of the relationship.

Prior to entering into a business relationship, its a good idea to have an understanding of what the terms are.

The problem with this story is the worthless employees get to file a free law suit that will cost wally world tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees to defend themselves against the government lawyers who the employees and unions get to sue with for free,
ALL of these large chain stores hire people part time because then they do not have to pay the fine for not providing obamao hitler care, they also do not have to provide the obamao hitler care for part time employees forcing either the tax payer to foot the bill or the employee is left to purchase their own insurance,
Some liberal college students were just pissing and moaning about having to pay a fine of around 500 bucks because they opted out of obamao hitler care.
