Are you growing outdoors?
lmao yes

i never grew outdoors but I think your spot should be near a good stream or else watering will be a big problem.

and dont worry about the dead people if they could do anything I think thier first order of busines would have been gettin outa those graves

i stumbled across a freshly dug grave at the cemetary once, we used to get blazed and play hide and seek behide the tombstones, it was kinda freaky,

anyway us being your typicle asshole males hop in the the grave and took a pee pee inside:roll:

.
fuck that, i dont even know if im gunna be able to go in there at night time. its fuckin scary as shit durring the day. i guess thats why nobody ever goes in there. watering is not gunna be a big deal because its by my house and i could just bring some milk jugs of water over and plus i got help. my cousin is pitching in. i said i'd give him an ounce. there is a stream but the water supply is downhill and the site is up hill. and water won't run uphill.

canna something that u can do is get normal plants but tie them down so they're not straight up in the air. thats what im planning on doing (growing inside til last frost or so then move them out and have them low to the ground) the strain im growing is called kaya is from nirvana not the crazyiest but for a beginner like me it'll live and hopefully produce something lol good luck choosing!
i forget what thats called.....um low stress training or somthing like that? ive seen it done but does that really work?

get some fem white widows..i did..fucker know how toget on with the business. fat leaves no stretch and at seven weeks (indoor mind you) two feet tall and DENSE. The kc33 has my attention too was slllooww to germinate and sprout but it absolutely owned the grow room once it decided to grow. I have it LST'd just so the thing fits in there. My Thai skunk gives me freakish wood when ever I smell it and though stretchy in growth pattern I dig that smell. I have one outside in a container and it started to go into flower last week. It's got resin build up already and yet it's only ten inches tall every day I want to chop it down it smells so good man but I will let it go to maturity. Attitude says 75 - 90 days flowering. gee only sixty five days to go.

I grew up in New England, I know it well - was raised on a small organic farm in the hill country... May i suggest a northern lights strain and a good hash plant? Spread em out man and frankly dont ever mention the place again....lol dont sweat the ashtray just return it, the spirit world knows your human, they understand. I like that you have an appreciation for the history of the place - Im an am. archeologist ... those places are special when you feel alive just standing there.
here's a mug shot of a white widow in my cfl grow .. Ive posted it in a few other threads. what can I say I'm a proud papa. almost six weeks in this pic.

Its actually called suppercropping, LST, or just pinching.

Search those on Youtube. You'll find tons of videos

Definitely go with supercropping. It would be most efficient for your grow (tying them down would be a lot of work). Youtube it. It's simple, and doesn't sacrifice any of the plant like topping. Just pinch the stems and bend them over.

Your probably thinking of LST (low stress training). But there are other techniques, like pinching, supercropping, FIM, and topping. You might want to youtube or google them to see eachone done.

why do u feel that it would be the best bet for my grow?

by pintching u mean by binching the stem untill it bends over? wouldnt that hurt the plant?

My bad didn't realize i already post :)

honest pothead mistake
lol its cool man

Actually that's what i thought, but it doesn't.

You pinch the stem of the highest growth tip but try not to break the internal "tube" which transports nutrients to the growth tip (your gonna have to do some damage though).

Then when its pinched from a few different angles you bend it to like a 90 degree or less angle.

The plant realizes that the highest growth tip is no longer the highest.

Hormones are distributed to the other growth tips as they all compete to become the top growth tip.

Sometimes pinching the same tip more than once is required and adding weights to keep the tip down is also usefull.

However you dont want to overdo it. To much pinching/ supercropping means to much stress and that can lead to tons of problems.

The other ways would work, it would just be a lot of work to LST 12 plants outdoors, and topping is actually removing plant, which is pretty unnecessary for outdoors (you got the room). Just Supercrop (youtube it, the first vid is great). You just pinch the stem until it kinda breaks and falls over... I mean if you wanna keep your plants short. If I had an outdoor space that sick, I'd just let 'em do their thing.

i saw a couple of videos on youtube. and i almost cringed when i seen the man bend the stems over. i'd be so worryied about hurting the plant. but i guess i'll cross that bridge when i get to it. thanks man

Well, if you think about it, LST is stressing the plant so that it'll grow a certain way. It's all damaging the plant, really. MJ is strong though, and can handle the stress. I feel ya though. Once you do it and see how the plants respond though, you'll never cringe again. Happy Growing

lmao i forgot he did the same thing. but its diffrient, i live with my grams so if she sells the house, then im out of a home. she cant afford the bills anymore. so i figure i can give her enough money to pay her debt, and maybe i can get a car. and id be in a better cituation to get a better paying job and eventually move out. cuz it would be easier on my grams if she only lived there

thats true, its all damaging the plant, but bending the stem like that is like breaking your kids leg. its gunna take alot to do it the first time. but after the first i think ill be fine, thanks. question. if the MJ plant is so strong, why do ppl put so much into growin when all it is is a weed?

One thing you want to be careful for is to not stress the plant so much that it turns into a hermie gotchya, ill keep that in mind. u guys will have a front row seat in the grow and ill be asking alot of questions

People want the healthiest best plant they can get in the shortesst amount of time, which is why hydroponics is popular. People can completely control the plant's environment. And besides, most of the problems with growing are due to too much attention i.e. overwatering, over-fertilizing. On her own, MJ will grow really well outdoors, just make sure she has a little water and you'd be surprised. The majority of the effort of growing though, is recreating an outdoor environment indoors i.e. lights, fans, humidifiers etc... Lastly, MJ is kind of a weed, but not quite as resilient as the weeds that pop up in your yard, plus most ppl on here grow MJ in non-native areas where she requires more attention. I like the Happy Gilmore idea haha. Good luck to ya.

thanks for explaining that. rep+. everytime i tried to grow ur right either it was overwatering or too much ferts. or lack of knowledge.lol happy gilmore? well its similar in a way i guess. but u kno i live with my grams, and if she dont get the money then im out of a home also. so i gotta do what i gotta do
