Does a possum have the potential to be domesticated?

Will it ever turn on you? I say keep it. It's doing cool with you why throw it out to the yard for it to cry all night. Let it grow then it'll eventually take care of itself.

Feed me a bong rip.
they have a "special diet" and can get sick if held captive. they stay close though so i could probably get him to be "friendly" yet still wild.

This flannel you speak of..... Does it come complete with a possum housing space in the hoody?
just like it's momma pouch.

did you know opossums have the most teeth of any north american mammal?

they eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, grasses, reptiles, mice, slugs and snails, birds, probably my wifes goldfish, .........................

Wow I didn't know that. A part of me was curiously trying to pciture what a pssum would like to eat. You know cats love rottens. Birds love seeds & bugs. Rabbits love veggies. 1lastgodsend loves bong rips.

You really think it would snack on a goldfish??? :bongsmilie:

I hate those little bastards, they are always hanging by their tails in the tree out back. They rip stuff up in the garden!:cuss:

if you can afford it just take care of it while you can or untill it can take of it self then release it in to the woods..if it comes back afterwards...keep it as a pet....:peace:

He's SO CUTE!!!! Poor little guy. If the mother won't take him back ( probably won't ), at least make sure he's safe until he gets bigger. Yeah, you'll have a possum always hanging around - but you won't have any slugs in your garden! =)

we have a local rescue center. i want to call them but i don't want to just take him to them. i want to keep him here in my yard but let him be wild as well. i just need to help him with some food and warmth until he gets a little bigger. we have an old rabbit cage out back i may be able to make into a little house for him. :)
