I have a twin plant!!! Critical Plus!

Hi guys, this is one of my first posts, didn't want to join a forum talking about marijuana etc, but since lurking for a while I have seen what a good, helpful and insightful community it is...

I started my first grow not long back, and just wanted to show off my set up to see what you guys think (no pictures for now, but will be shortly...hopefully some in morning).

I am growing in a 200 x 240 x 200 Secret Jardin grow tent.

I am using 2x 600w HPS PowerPlant Bulbs.

I have fans and Carbon Filter but haven't installed them yet since no smell.

My plants went into flowering 6 days ago, and are already growing rapidly, I can see results every day I go into the tent. I had to veg them and put them in flowering early for financial reasons, and I need some good smoke soon.

I am growing the Feminised Critical Plus seeds from Dinafem, since I have seen about 3 friends grow it, and it is such a rare but ridiculously strong smoke, probably my favorite.

I have much pride in my grow since one of them happened to grow a twin. Which is something I am hoping you guys can help me with...when I was germinating the seeds, 1 strangled itself to death, one never cracked, and one grew 2 shoots.

Has anyone else ever had a twin plant before because out of all my buddies they all say I am the first they have known for it to happen. Some other guy I spoke to had one but he used regular seeds and it turned out to be a male, so I really feel privileged, or is it something quite normal?

Anyway, looking forward to replies, and I will post some pictures tomorrow night if I get chance to.

Thanks in advance.

Haha sounds good my friend, yeah it does, but it rooted 2 shoots during germination which is odd. I'll get some pictures up so you can see exactly what I mean, it's almost like a little sister if you can undertstand, but it's weird because it's also the dominant plant of the 8, it is twice as big, more internodes, wider, huge fan leafes, and it also has a twin...so I am thinking it is just genetically deformed (but in a good way).

Whoa! Sorry guys, just remembered I was gunna take some pictures. I'll go take some now, watch this thread! The beast of the group with the twin, is quite bushy so I'll try my hardest to get a good picture, but the camera is on my laptop, so please take pity if the picture turn out shit!

Close up of the first 4, with the top left one being the twinned plants.

Here is a further shot of the four;

This is the best picture I can get to show you the twin because the plant is so bushy and I am taking the pictures from my laptop.

Here is a picture of the other 4;

And the best overall picture I got;

Tell me what you guys think, and remember this is my first grow so be kind. And these are in their 6th day of flowering today if that helps with anything.

Yeah I know, very lucky indeed! Sorry about the pictures, best I could do until I get a camera or something. I don't know if you knew but if you click on the thumbnails they open up bigger pics (just incase that's what you meant).

No one else know how this has happened or was it just a chance of probability? I'm just interested to find out if anyone else has had one before, and whether it was a big producer or not?

well i gotta say you just got lucky with that one man, I'd say its some genetic mutation type of thing ha but to come down to it I'd say she'll def have more just from the fact that 2 is better than 1 that's why i top my plants ha but i think you should be all good though...she might get thirsty quicker than the others though n all...

Oh she grows twice as quick, drinks twice as much, everything is bigger and better...would it be a good idea to take cutting from her once I've finished...or even mother her?

I'll be definatly keeping people up to date with the results!

Here are the pictures from day 7 in flowering. Take a look for yourselves.

First Picture is the little 4. Second Picture are the big 4. Third Picture top left hand corner is the beast. And the last picture is an overall picture of them.

I apologize again for the bad quality pictures but they are being taken from the webcam on the screen of my laptop. Best I can do until I buy a decent camera.

Tell me what you guys think.

I had this happen to me about 2 months ago. One seed popped two stalks. Unfortunately, mine were males.

While it's nice to get 2 distinct plants from 1 seed, if they stay in the same pot they will compete for resources, and one will suffer because of it. If you can separate them without fucking the roots too bad, I would do it. Or just top one, leave a stump (with no leaves...this keeps the roots alive so they don't die and start to cause root rot!) and grow out the topped bit as clone.

If you wanted to mother it or something you could keep them together. You could put them in a bigger pot...that would help for a little while.

Good luck:leaf:

Thanks for replying, I think I am going to leave them because the 2nd shoots isn't half as big as the main plant, I think I'll just get some extra weed from it to be honest.

Sorry people the attachment thing wouldn't work for me, my Internet went a bit funny. Here are the pictures.

This is not a joke, Konjoined Kush is a very well known strain of herb, one of it's many distinguishing features include a double stem from seed. Most of these companys don't really put the strain that they advertise in the pack you end up with. That my friend is Konjoined Kush, you may doubt it but this is the truth. Let me drop a little bit of knowledge on you my friend, the saga of "Konjoined Kush".
It was a long long very long time ago when there were two brothers growing up in India, these two brothers were no ordinary brothers. They spent day and night together, never leaving ones side, do you know why? It's because they were conjoined twins. Well these two brothers loved to smoke the holy herb, but each had his own fondness toward different strains, in search for a strain that they both would like they crossbred the two of the strains and ended up with something magnificent! The highly prized and very rare strain we now know as "Konjoined Kush". This strain is not to be taken lightly, many people have even forgotten about it's existance in this world, but it's existance is absolute.

The ducting is blowing in, until I have put everything together and stuck a couple of oscillating fans in there. For the time being it is adequate. I placed the mirror in there to experiment with side lighting, I place it in there and since then I have noticed them four plants have grown bigger than the other 4.

I admit the mirror is literally experimentation, and I don't know whether that is the reason for the bigger growth. If I noticed any premature heat spots I will remove it, but for now I'll see what happens because all is going good.

Today pictures will be up shortly. Thanks for the reply!
