I Have a Serious Problem

my gf is graduating in 1 week. there will be lots of friends and family coming over. ive got 6 plants that are about 4 weeks into flowering, and their all putting off quit a smell(grow room is in the laundry room). I will no doubt have to get these plants out of here a few days before family gets here so there will be time to air out the apartment, but i literally have no place to move them.

I think my only options are to either chop them down early( i would be lucky to harvest 1 oz) or take my chances and cram them all in my little outdoor storage closet. If i put them in the closet, the plants will be there for about 2 days with no light, no air circulation, no attention of any kind. The temp in the day gets to mid 80's, at night gets around mid 50's.

So im wondering, is 2 days in an outdoor closet too much for my babies? will this do them in? should i just say fuck it and chop em down? It sucks cause i kno if i chop em, ill get maybe an oz, but if i let it go for like 3 or 4 more weeks, im guessling ill have 10-12 oz.

Bottom line, do you think my plants can survive in the outdoor storage closet for 2 or 3 days of no attention?

Candles work miracles that's what I use. They will survive probably shock the he'll out of them but they will survive.

candles are a great idea. i can even keep them burning while people are here, and if anybody ask why i have candles burning i can say its to mask the "ciggerette" smoke.

thats not gonna hurt them to have them in the dark, once every 2 weeks in flower i give my plants 24 hours of darkness then back to regular schedule. It will only fuckup if the dark cycle is interupted

candles in a closed cramped place with no attention... not sure that's an excellent idea, but if you can do it safely then why not... and yeah, def better to get them out for 2 days then to chop so early

If i was you i would mimic a flood (Give your ladies a nice flush) and then a couple days of very cloudy weather (3 days max in the storage closet bro). DO NOT CHOP DOWN EARLY you will regret it. flush with super thrive or roots exelurator. Make sure you open storage closet minimum once a day for fresh air and last but not least dont let anyone see you. Just trying to help .Been their done that. Oh and put a Master lock on the shed people ARE hella nosy.

wow thats very interesting. what benefits do you get from 24 hour darkness every other week? im guessing better root growth?
so 48-72 hours of total darkness wont be the end of their world according to you guys? god i hope your right. for some reason i thought they would be really really dead.
ill give it a go. Graduation is next saturday (the 14th) so i guess ill move them thursday night(12th) as soon as the lights go out.

candles for around the house lol NOT the growroom :P

if you're gonna have a light in the shed' one option is to use a cfl bulb attached to an extension cord if theres no outlet in the shed. You can get a socket that plugs right into the cord for about a buck at walmart' instant light.
