Hello guys .I am a long time reader and for the first time i have a question that i cant find any credible info.
I have my first photoperiod (durban poison - dutch passion) she is in her 3d week of vegging and she is growing really good so far in a 11lt fablric pot that it will be her final. My tent is 60x60x160 cm and my light set up for vegging is 17w led bulbs 2-6 (adding more as time goes by)and 2 30w full spectrum.
I dont know why i added all this info ... Ive read and watch a lot of info about topping and cloning but as a concerned parrent i want the best for my child
and my question is what is the best chronological order of topping for cloning
1.Do i wait for my plant to reach the 6th node and cut the main stem leaving 4 nodes and use this as clone?
OR
2.Do i just to the 4th leaving 3 nodes and wait till it gets bigger and take clones some time after?

Thanks for your time in advance . :D

I vote for waiting for till 6 nodes and topping at the third. The bottom node branches can be taken and cloned once the plant recovers without any stunting.

I might be the odd man out but when I top I just top the top node at 3 -5.

Another thing. Durban is a great strain. Enjoy it.

You are not odd at all man,Im the odd one... preferably i would just top too if i had at least an other plant in the tent but after the failed germination of some seeds i decided to enter the cloning game so i can maximize the potential of my tent and learn something new in the process.
My expirience is with Autos till now which they are pretty straight forward.
