I have a LOT of fresh air coming in, do I really need CO2?

I have a large amount of outside fresh air going into my room all the time. Do you really think I will benefit much from utilizing CO2, or will the outside air just kick some butt for me? What do ya say? Thanks. =)

well u dont "need" co2....Are you a beginner gower or novice or expert? I say co2 grows are for people between novice and expert....You should learn to grow the plant good first and then try co2.....Co2 wont do anything if you plant is stressed and fighting off some other issuse... But if you have had a few grows under you belt and want to give it a shot, yes Co2 will greatly improve the size/quantity (again assuming it is healthy and well fed from the get go)

Good luck man :)

Don't need it if you have a reasonable amount of fresh air. there are plenty of other cheaper ways to increase your yield.....However if I had another bulb or two and was battling higher temps i would want it.

The CO2 of fresh air is around 400 ppm, the CO2 most systems shoot for is around 1500 ppm. So, you don't need it, but unless you live over a volcano, fresh air is never going to replace CO2. I also heard you could use CO2 to kill pests if your able to get your ppm above 10000 or so.

Fresh air is bullshit if you can circulate air from your house. The Co2 in your house is probably between 600-800 ppm outside in America it's around 400 or so. So excuse me if I don't understand the infatuation with "fresh air"

I feel like my yields slightly improved with a little added co2. But idecided to go a cheaper way and use the co2 coming off my water heater, which is located right next to my grow. Theres a good diy thread on it somewhere, check it out.

you're gonna get flamed, not by me of course because I know about small devices that burn propane and natural gas being approved for indoor use with no vent.people freak when they see someone even mention this. If you don't have a co monitor you should probably have one. old thread btw.
