i have a 2 week old plant its 4 1/2 inchs tall and skinny?

shouldnt it be bushy by now? im using a grow light, i picked the wrong one. but its blue. and i had it at like 14 inches away from the plant when ever it first started sprouting..was that to far away? and i water it like 2-3 times a day, i just dont see why it looks so gay lol. and not bushy.

its stretching to reach the light because there isnt enough.

if its a cfl (florecent) light, it needs to be about 2 inches away from the top of the plant.

and you only need to water once a day.

14" wowsers! tooooooo far do as noobryder said get it 2inches away from top of plant and you're over watering . water every 2-3 days NOT 2-3 TIMES A DAY!.

lol dam, thx guys im a first timer lol. ill make sure i fix that right away. and the light is a blue led light, i bought it at lowes hardware. called a growing light like 65w. so yea ill fix that.

but how much water a day?

id go with about 6-9 spoons of water at this stage.

and your going to need more than 65W soon.

i find it easier on baby plants to use a spray bottle and mist the soil till its damp

think it would be alright if i use another 40w light thats cfl? with the blue grow light? or would 2 lights affect its growing

water once a day and you'll end up with a overwatering problem... every 3-4 days is optimal.
