first time grower and i was wondering what i should put in my box...

going with white paint on the inside

was thinking 4 1000 watt's

vent system

homemade carbon filter

co2 burner

temp control

and i was considering the wick system for watering...

what watering system do most people use? any suggestions?

i know these are a lot of questions but thanks for the help

With a grow that big I would use a drip system. Hydro even.
Think about how much electric your going to use with those lights alone, not including fans, pumps, other lighting for vegging plants and possible clones...with 4000 watts you can grow alot of plants a home made filter isnt going to cut it either...basically think about not getting caught work your set up around that...for example if you are living in a home for over 12 months it wouldnt be a good idea to raise the amount of current you use an extra 4kw+ per hour.... just my 2 cents

Wow your first grow? I'd perhaps consider a scaled down version and find your grow style and practice your approach. I like the single 1000watt light ten girls in dirt and study everything you can.. Often times first attempts are not as rewarding but still alot of fun..

It does seem to be a big step for a new grower but if you got the $ and the space I say go for it
Air cooled 1000 watters hooked up sucking threw a store bought Carbon filter, never used a home made one but I would not put that much trust into them
heard alot of good things about the c02 burners but I only have a tank and regulater
temp control look into a dual hose portable A/C unit to keep temps in check and with out loosing c02
and the water start out in soil and water by hand, I have been growing for years and still perfer that method

And the power surge it is scary, thinking about the power spike the power company will see when you start up, but I have seen bigger setup's start up and have heard nothing about them getting bust "Just Cause the light bill went up"
