I had a light leak during flowering! is it okay?

Hey everyone. I left part of my tent open last night. Just a slit. And my gf was in the other room watching tv and light was reflecting its way near the grow area. The light source was around the corner and in the other room. So very little light was even near the grow tent. It only happened last night and it is exactly a week to the day from when i flipped to 12/12.
Stupid me left the tent open slightly and forgot i was taking an EC reading so left that in the rez all night.

I personally don't think it can hurt but I could be wrong.

Very true. Thanks for the response. I just hear about all these ppl hermieing because of that. I would assume that it must have a light leak the whole flowering period.

It sounds like you were pretty high.

Yea trying to pay attention and do shit in the garden when you're constantly stoned leads to fun times. Like did I already put this or that in my water. .. and leaving shit on. One day I dosed my res twice cuz I forgot I already added nutes.

The same as you can't FIX a plant overnight.. unless you do something radical it is hard to ruin a plant overnight too.

Had you of kept it leaking light for longer than a week, well.. who knows..

No way to know until it either starts spitting seeds or it doesnt. Good luck and try not to make the same mistake twice.

I should say it is hard to ruin a plant overnight in 'soil' unless you do something radical.. other mediums vary in kill time.. *L*

You now have a great chance to check the hermie stability of the strain your are growing. In my experience - if they were fem seeds - you're pretty much guaranteed some hermie action. Hopefully not too much though, and late starting if at all.

One night won't hurt her, and if I understand you right, there was no "direct" light on the plant.

I wouldn't be worried.

No direct light. I am probably just worrying. We will see how serious seeds stands the hermy test lol.

I rate them as a company - hopefully you'll be ok.

I definitely was stoned when I did that. First time last time hopefully.

I wouldn't loose any sleep over it. One night of some limited light exposure will not,I repeat will not harm your plants. Relax about it smoke some bud and everything will be ok

No sense worrying since you cant take it back or do shit about it right? And as far as outdoor plants turning out fine, the thing there is thats because that is the environment they are introduced to, so they've adapted to it.
I'm sure you'll be fine but I know I used to think it was ridiculous to worry so much about a little light leak here and there.....boy did I learn different the hard way. They really are very very sensitive to staying on their cycle, and depending greatly on what strain it is, some can be very easily prone to hermie with just the slightest variance.
Don't sweat it, but man dont let it happen a lot or you'll be pickin those bananas off them.

And I noticed u said only a few days after flip me personally I don't consider my bbys flower until I see bud formation or pistels tht being said even less likely
