i seen 13w 10% uv cfl bulbs for reptiles and i was thinking what if someone had a clone they know like the back of their hand and can also get 4 identical grow rooms and media and all. what i would like to see is one grow with 13w 2100k cfls lets say 7-8 ( 91 - 104w total) with a clone in one room, 13w 5100k cfls same number bulbs and then the third grow with the uv bulbs ( must be 10% uv, i have seen the 5 also but 10 would be better) and the last and final grow with a 90 - 100 W hid and if you want a 5% uv grow but that should give you a idea of what i think would answer some questions and give a clear idea on the science behind how the lights affect the plant.

the trick is keep everything consistent the cutting that you take and clone the amount of nutrients and timing also co2 it should be a closed box grow or all their intakes taking air from the same room, temperature and everything identical humidity everything!!!!! making sure its a clone of a plant the grower already perfected and i think this would be a awesome grow to follow and document also do a led grow room of what ever would be the 91-104w equivalent

ill say 2 week veg

so who shall raise to the occasion and get this grow for the stickies

i also think since we cannot test in a lab the thc percentages to judge it would be the weight? microscope view of the thc on the plant, and a qwiso hash with the same rules of consistency applying here and checking the yield of the hash after or maybe a more better way of checking the amount of resin from each grow.

i wish a grower committed themselves to this study in the past im pretty sure you would even be featured in magazines like i say stinkbud in because if there was we would have a idea of how what light affects what percentage wise and the small grower can then maximize there watt usage. i know hid is the bomb but why not do at least one whole grow with only uv bulbs and make sure not to go in the grow room with the lights on take em off and open to check on them then close and place lights back on uv is dangerous to plants and humans.

Commission accepted, I'll need 12 months, $4000 for the space, $2000 for the lighting rig, $30,000 for a really SUPER HOT nerdy assistant and a basic retainer for myself say $1500 a month?

The lab assistant is non-negotiable.

Japing aside I think that with the UV light you may well have a real point, I would definitely try one in a grow, but only for a few hours a day. I saw a thing that suggested that studying the relative UV in some countries may be beneficial...
