I woke up this morning to find my GrowLab 3x3 tent flooded 3" deep from my Botanicare 3x3 Ebb and Flow table. I have no idea what caused this. Thoughts?

Well, I'm no genius, but I think you should probably clean it up.

After that, figure out where the problem is - very doubtful that it's a hole in your reservoir, so obviously something went haywire with your overflow doo-hicky - check that it's not clogged with plant matter or something like that, but Jesus Christ be careful with all that water around lots of electrical devices.

Was no electronic device injured in this little flood?

All the electrical stuff is fine. Thankfully the bottom of the tent has a removable floor that contained the spill and all the electrical stuff was outside the tent.

Yes, I'm using clay pebbles. My theory is that some of the clay pebbles floated out of their pots and clogged the overflow fitting enough that the water came in faster than it went out. What I plan on doing is adjusting the flow rate down so that by the time the tray is full the timer will turn off the pump.

Thanks, guys.

Not a problem, and good luck with that - perhaps an additional overflow fitting would be a nice failsafe? (if it's even feasible, not sure about your setup)

Also, what exactly are you growing in with the hydroton? Maybe try to get a lid (if netpots) so that the hydroton won't go all over the place?

Just random thoughts, you know your setup best, but be careful.
