I caught someone in my garden.

I just harvested my first plant yesterday. I was so parinoid I would get up in the night and look and see if it was still there...heehee
To deterr any unwanted visititors, I tied string with tin cans every few feet. Then I tied string to each branch attached them to each other. Then I strung the sting in thru my kitchen window and attached cans on the end. I put the cans in the kitchen sink so if anyone tripped the string outside it would make a rattle of cans. I also bought a security light which I think helped alot.! Very intimidating to walk in the back yard at night and have this bright light come on! I also pad locked my gate.
This may or may not have worked. Let me tell you it was hard for me to navigate in my backyard during the day without tripping over them and rattling the cans. I can't imagine someone trying to roam my back yard at night with out making any noise.

Good luck to you...and happy harvesting!

this thread is trippy. i gotta get in on it. if your afraid to stay outside because of spiders or the dark or whatever you could still set up a tent there and hang out from time to time. have a little fire in a fire pit during the day or something. just make it look like someone is staying out there. i live in north florida and me and a buddy hunt on his land but the property is about 50 miles from where we live so we dont stay out there during the week when hunting season come. he has about 2 miles of wooded riverfront on the st. marys river that separates florida and georgia. a couple years ago we had people poaching the land and coming on from the river in canoes. we went out to the beginning of the property on the river and put a pop up camper high on the bank and would hang out there from time to time, make it look like a fresh fire. had a chair and clothesline outside of it. it seemed to work because there was less sign of other people on the land after we did that(from the river side anyway) idk, just an idea. i just hit a couple gb's and read this thread. wanted to tell my story lol

oh and def take off that silencer and if you ever see them back, damn sure fire that thing in the air. even if they get half a mile before you can get to your gun...they'll hear it and i doubt they'll come back after that. good luck! keep us posted.

murder them. grind them up into little peices (pref. with a blender) then use their dead grinded bodies as a fertilizer. watch the pH though. it tends to spike with human corpses

strict gun control? get a dog. a big one.

a rottweiler's a good breed. great pyrennees can be very protective too.

an argentine dogo is scary too.

a pair of pitbull would be good security too.

you can throw their shit on the compost pile....

you looking everyonce in a while outside isn't working. get some dogs, do an electrified fence if you have to... i'd get a shotgun and blanks. warning shots of blanks into the air will scare the thought of coming back out of them while they run into the woods.

If you cant get a gun, digg holes and cover them with dirt and grass put a bear trap in them.

nice plants, by the way alot of people actually camp outside the remaining few weeks. Alot of outdoor threads i am following have tents set up one has a camper. The camper thread is sick with 20 foot tall plants.
which thread is that ?

And to the OP. best of luck. Cameras will help alot. Especially the ones that have those red lights around the lens . Cameras scare away people, because its instant evidence. I wud refrain from camping outside.

Agreeed with the electric fence. my aunt has one. bought 6 foot. no need but, her house hasnt been robbed in ages. lol

my friend also has a pitbull a puppy bought 7 months but still big as hell. Get you an adult one. Put it outside , Done deal .

What kind of idiots havent heard of putting a fence up. Wow it's not hard to to figure out how to get a fence around your plants. LMAO @ those 3 comments. Dogs + unfenced plants = bad. Dogs + fenced plants = untouched plants. lol
