I cant go to sleep

Its about to be 5 AM here and im not even feeling sleepy. I fucking hate being a night owl, it makes me miss half the day cuz I sleep til like 1 PM :wall:. No matter what I do, it always comes back to this. For example, for a whole 2 weeks I was asleep by 11 and up by 9. But somehow like 3 days ago I stayed up til like 3 (my brain is the most active at night) and the vicious cycle is back. Part of the reason I use MMJ is for this insomnia but it rarely puts me to sleep, just relaxes me but eventually my brain tells me to go research something new. FUCK!!! I want to go to sleep already:cuss:

my sympathies, i often experience the same.
even when i was in the construction industry and tired myself out id still be up till 3am and out the door to work at 7.
tried sleeping tablets, hypnotherapy, excessive amounts of weed hell even hot milk. :P
insomnia was the main reason i was an alcoholic from age 15-18 (young i know)
recently my father has been making me 'funny tea' as my mother calls it and even that doesn't quite do the trick.

I recently read a good article about how some humans are naturally nocturnal, like owls and shit. I guess im one of them.

interesting thought. . . . really hope it isnt true or this insomnia thing is gonna be hard to shake.
it doesn't make getting work any easier ether, i constantly look tired. not the best impression to make.
iv often wondered if insomnia is genetic as there is a strong history of it in my family.
I learnt this after i started to be affected by insomnia so (hopefully) cant be having a psycosymatic response to the information.

well i suppose if im a nocturnal human i better start dressing like a bat and start solving crime or somthing. . at least it would be productive. ;-)

Smoke weed, and just keep smoking till you get that really sleepy burned out feeling, and then lay down and try and relax all the muscles in your body...you're guaranteed to have a very deep sleep ;)

This stuff gets you to sleep, but it doesn't "keep" you asleep.
Works for me when I need it.

valerian gives me messed up dreams, wish it didn't as I like the taste. my body has built up tolerance to zopiclone and diazepam. I find indica really helpful for my restless nights and it makes me happy but don't always have a grow on the go and can't be assed with dealers. so i always have a bottle of Diphenhydramine Hcl 50mg handy which i find works pretty well.

you can buy them cheap online and it's a quality product at http://www.discounthealthproducts.co.uk/diphenhydramine_hcl.htm
They do become addictive but if you're a troubled sleeper you'll know that. Roll it up x
